MM Star Tours or Fantasy Land?

Taking a last second trip to DL with DW and DK's 8/18-8/21. We'll have a MM to use so my question is should we just FP Star Tours and then do all the rides at FL? Or just stand in line for Star Tours?

I'm leaning towards getting the FP's and then heading over to FL. Our DD is 5 and just loves the FL rides.

Any ideas or tips would be appreciated! We haven't told the DK's yet....can't wait to see their faces!

I don't think you can get a FP until the park actually opens. Personally, I would spend the MM doing the FL rides, and then go over to ST to get a FP right at park opening.

You can stand in line for Star Tours for as long as you could stand in line for all the FL attractions.


Star Tours is great and you won't want to miss it, but the FP distribution won't be open until the parks regular opening. Also on MM days the FP line builds with MM people.

So getting FP is a good idea if FL is more important, you might want to do one or the other first. But you could go to FL, and at opening time have a runner take all of the park tickets over to the ST FP distribution and grab the FPs for the group. Aim to be in that FP line about 5-10 minutes after park opening to let many of the MM people get through so you don't spend a lot of time waiting for the FPs.

However ST has mulitple ride sequences so you may want to ride it more than once, so wiegh that in.

Also good to know the ST FP will all be gone by late morning, and the FP return line will be 20-30 minutes later in the day.


FL over ST first is a tricky choice, do what will make your family the most happy.

I am here at DL now. Yesterday we were at MM. We did the fantasyland rides and at 745 or 750 I got in line for the Star Tours FP. I was the fourth person in line. My return time was at 840. Hope that helps!!
