Our family watches European soccer, DH especially enjoys the German teams. In his opinion the MLS is part of the European players' retirement plan. When the European players get past their prime and are about ready to retire, they come to the MLS to "wind down" until they fully retire.

He should watch the FIFA Club World Cup play in match tonight on TBS and see if it's still a retirement league in his eyes.
