I know all-star games, in general, are snoozers, but hey, with 5 Cleveland Indians playing this year, how bad could it be!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Anyone else going to be watching the Mid-Summer Classic?

Even though the AL's starting infield is mostly made up of Yankees, I won't be watching.

I really like the fact they are playing for home field advantage in the Series, but it still won't get me to watch.

I'm a big baseball fan, but this is just an exhibition game. The players don't care all that much - there's kids in the duguouts, etc. - so I don't care either.

But Amazing Race is on tonight, so I won't be bored!

DH has already requested hot dogs and beer for dinner tonight:D

What time should we be there?

I have to work otherwise I probally would at least be flipping to it. We did watch the Home Run Derby last night, and that was cool! (I tried not to laugh to hard when Sammy Sosa did so bad! Afterall, ther were no White Sox players in it so...)

Welll...I think there may still be a little bit of wet paint on DD's wall after we redecorated it recently, so I would much prefer to watch the drying process :teeth:

(PS...Is it football season yet ?)

Hey Bob, I did not realize there were so many Indians in it! Who rigged the votes huh??

I am a Indians fan, just so long they are not playing the White Sox, or are not in first place and the Sox in second LOL. A good friend of mines husband is a producer for the radio broadcast for the Indians too.

Be here by gametime monkeyboy, and bring some peanuts, please!

The players and coaches voted on the reserves, so they must have some idea of what they're talking about, I guess! :teeth: :teeth:

With the exception of their bullpen, a lot of Indians have had great seasons so far. :) :)

I didn't even try to hold back the laughter...In fact when Sammy whiffed on the first pitch, i almost peed my pants! As a die hard Cardinal fan, I cherish moments like that. :teeth:

I have always liked the Chi Sox as my second team....you guys take care of my man Mark Burhle..what an arm that kid has.

I adore Mark Burhle! When we went to the game a few weeks back I got lots of nice pictures of him.

My DH is a huge Cubs fan, so he was quite bummed by Sammy's performance.

I voted for Carlos Beltran when he was in the American League. Now he plays nationa, no way man!

Bob, I just saw Office Space, and uh why?

Whatever...Just leave my stapler alone !

I was also quite amused that Sammy did really bad. :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: I do not like that guy...

What a great start by Clemens...put in Ben Sheets!!!!!! (yay Brewers!!!!!!) :D

Clemens really stunk the place up tonight (although Kent's error didn't help). I'm kind of glad though, because I've been feeling he was due for a bad game sooner or later, and I'd rather have it happen here than in a game that counts in the standings.

I liked the Blues Brothers opening. We were downtown Sunday and got to see them filming part of it. We were right behind the camera vehicle at one point while we drove around looking for a parking place :D
