MKV at the Poly????

Ok this may sound silly but isn't there MKV CL at the Poly? We stayed at the Poly over Christmas and I was sure I paid for a MKV and this was stated on my travel docs. But trying to book it now but my only options are LV and GV. Am I crazy??? Are all the LV rooms MKV? Did I get upgraded and not even know it? Now I don't even remember what I booked and paid for last time around. Thanks to anyone that can help clear this up for me.

Hi!

Not all LV rooms are MKV. I had a room last December that was a LV room but the one next to me was classified as a MKV. I was able to see the castle but the bottom was obstructed by 'Beachcomber' island. For December '08 I booked a LV room and that is what's shown on my documents.

So in a nutshell, a MKV is a LV room, but a LV room isn't always a MKV room. Hope I didn't confuse ya!

ETA: I completely missed the 'CL' part of your post so I didn't answer your question correctly. mea culpa.

It appears you are asking about concierge level. If so, there are only two categories, lagoon view and garden view. Lagoon view rooms are MK view rooms. These rooms are in the Hawaii building.

Other resort MK views are available in other longhouses, but are not concierge level.

Hope that is what you are trying to determine.

Yes!!! Thank you so much. I thought for sure when I booked last year I booked a MKV CL but apparently not. I must have booked LG CL. Thank you for helping me clear that up. Now I can book our trip for next Dec.

Last month when my family and I stayed at the Polynesian we got upgraded to a Club Level Lagoon View in the Hawaii Longhouse. Originally we had a reservation for a Club Level Garden View room. Anyway we were in room #3510 and we had a clear view of Cinderella's Castle, the Contemporary and the Grand Floridian. Since you have a reservation for this type of view you are 100% guaranteed to see Cinderella's Castle from any Lagoon View room in the Hawaii Longhouse.
