Just be carefull with a group that size. I herd rumors from someone who used to help organize an event fro Mousefest and apparently Disney thought it was getting to big and they wanted the organizers to pay fro rides to be taken down so the group could go on it. Maybe divide up into smaller groups rather then all of you at once.
Have aYeah, I hate to be a wet blanket but I think it's kind of obnoxious for large groups to take over a ride. And I say that having participated in the "Sad Tea Party" (see YouTube) and other large events. I felt really bad for the regular guests. Not saying don't have a blast, just do think of others' experience. I trust you guys!
As for me, I'm taking Pete's advice and I'll actually be in Disneyland during this meet.![]()
Yeah, I too was pretty sure this was just a hypothetical rather than an actual plan to all be together at the same timeUnless I missed it, I didn't see anything posted about everyone meeting up at the same park or ride for the day. During these events, the park touring tends to be on your own or in a small group of DISers you coordinate with. There's no issue.
We once took over the carousel at Hersheypark when we were on a choir tour years ago. We all got on and started performing while the ride was going. It was pretty neat actually and a lot of folks gathered around to hear us. Unfortunately they couldn't turn off the regular carousel music but we just sang over it. We were basically getting back at the park for not giving us permission to do an actual concert there.
Back in 1980 when we did it, the park (Hershey) was way less crowded. At the time, the people around seemed to like it based on them gathering around and applauding when we were done, but I'm sure it would never fly today. Parks are way more crowded and security is far more present. It was a much simpler time. To be honest, I wouldn't appreciate it either at this point. #getoffmylawnI hate to say it but that reminds me of the international tour groups' singing and chanting. It definitely disrupts the ambiance of a public location when a large group takes over like that. It makes uncomfortable for others and takes away from the theming. This is why Disney has cracked down and no longer allows tour groups to chant, etc. I'm sure you had good intentions, but I would not appreciate that during my park visit.

there was a little wouln't it be interesting if we all did it.. in theory, we'll all be walking out of cirque about the same timenot really about hit a ride or disrupt the place.
I suppose we could then take Jock Lindsey's by storm![]()
Is there a hypothetical time for this hypothetical gathering at Jock Lindsey's?Some might do that before.![]()
