MK was hopping today!

Since Pirates is going to be closing soon for its massive rehab, I decided to go to the MK for a brief time during the early afternoon. I was shocked that the park was so crowded; I think it's a bit early for the Spring Break crowd but perhaps not.

Had lunch in Tomorrowland; there was absolutely no space to eat indoors at Cosmic Ray's, and the lines for the bathrooms in Tomorrowland extended outside the entryways.

The most disappointing moment of the day though was seeing a dirty diaper on a park bench right by the Pirates gift shop. First of all, a cast member should have removed it, and secondly, why would ANYONE change a baby & leave a dirty diaper behind on a park bench? How disrespectful.

Us northerners just had February break this past week.....that could of been the crowds.....Our next break is in April...which is always the third week....this year it is the week of Easter......another time in the zoo.....
You are right ...how disrespectful to leave a dirty diaper anywheres......Did you get to any good restaurants that we need to hear about......we are going the last few days of April and the week of May.....always love to hear about new restaurants or ones that we have not been to..

I just went for a couple of hours as I am a local, but one of my fave restaurants is Flame Tree Barbecue at Animal Kingdom. I also love the breakfast at Boma's at Animal Kingdom Lodge. Trail's End at Fort Wilderness has a great and very reasonable buffet...one of the best deals at Disney. Also, Earl of Sandwich at Downdown Disney is very popular. The lines may be long, but the service is very quick. You can check out menus at Deb's site (allearsnet.com) Hope you have a fun time in April/May!

Besides the Northerners having February break...people from Louisiana started flocking there for Mardi Gras break as well. Most of the kids have this whole week of...starting today until March 5th.

I checked the flights on Southwest about 2 months ago and they were all completely booked from New Orleans to Orlando starting from this past Wednesday all the way until next Wednesday.
