I think the only news I can confidently say about Tron is that no one on this board knows when it will be opening.

When announcements re: ‘Coming in 2022’ announcement late in 2021, Tron was no longer included so it may not open until 2023. Nobody really knows though.

Feels like they’ve been working on this for ages. Really hope it’s done by the end of the year.

Read that they are doing pull through testing for the lightcycles. That put hope that they could open this summer or fall. Of course Remy was supposedly ready to open quite a while before it did, so Disney could do the same here. I would be surprised to see them open GoTG and Tron close together.

No idea when the ride will open but sure hope they did a better job of planning for sufficient ride capacity then they did for Star Wars. Having a new ride sold out within a few minutes of the park opening each day means they didn't plan for enough capacity. As I recall, construction was slowed/stopped during covid as part of reducing financial expenditures which is typical of what any large company might do. But obviously that pushed back when it will eventually open.

We were there last week. They still have some canopy work and a lot of outside work todo. Besides whatever else inside.
Hoping it will be open when we are there in October, but haven't seen any new opening date information.
With GoTG opening in May, would be surprised to see Tron open sooner than this fall.

Same here, that's our next visit...but I know it's doubtful (probably too soon after Cosmic Rewind and assuming they'll want to space them out). One can dream though.
