Mk to Studios

We will be spending the morning and afternoon at MK, we have Fantasmic PS at 430 at H&V in MGM.

Two questions:

What is the best route to get from MK to MGM and

How much time should I allow?

Official way--ferry or monorail to TTC then bus

Alternatives---Bus to Boardwalk then walk or boat

or walk to Contemporary then bus

I would say allow about 45 minutes to an hour to transfer from parks. Barring any freak accidents, it should take you about that amount of time once you figure in waiting for busses/monorails or time to walk. Worse comes to worse, if you have any extra time, you can shop a little bit or even take the time to relax on your trip over to MGM

We also took the monorail to the Poly and grabbed a bus to the Studios.

How about transferring from MK monorail to Epcot monorail and catching a boat at the International Gateway to MGM? Any quicker?

NO It's a long walk from the main entrance of EPCOT to the International Gateway and a long boat ride from the Gateway to MGM (stops in all the resorts).

Walking to the contemporary and then taking a bus is probably the quickest way.
