MK Opening procedures??

Hi,
I am planning our family's first trip to WDW next February, from the UK. I would like to book an early breakfast ADR for Crystal Palace on our second day, but am a little confused about the procedure.

Based on Feb 08, the park will probably open 9am, but I understand that you can book a breakfast at CP from 8:05am. So, will we still be able to get in the Park that early, even though we are not staying at a Disney resort?

Also, if I want to get the ferry, as opposed to the monorail in, what would be the earliest time I could do this? Finally, is Main Street always open before park opening time? So if park opens at 9am, when is this open?

Yes.

I advise against attempting the Ferry boats early.

1. They are later to start than the monorail.
2. They are maddeningly SLOW.

Yes.

Finally, is Main Street always open before park opening time? So if park opens at 9am, when is this open?

No.
Main Street opens with the park.

If you have an early ADR, you will be allowed into MK to walk down Main Street to get to the Crystal Palace or the Castle.

If you are stayng off site you will need to drive to the MK parking lot & then walk to the TTC if the trams are not running. The ferry will not be running & you will have to get the monorail to the MK - it might be the resort monorail if it is early.

On arrival at MK you will need to go to the turnstiles at the far right where there is a queue for character breakfast ADRs - you should have your confirmation number to hand. You will be let into the park to go to CP for breakfast.

It is wonderful to walk down Main Street when it is empty
