MK on Saturday

HI Everyone,

I'm leaving for Disney next Wednesday. I have decided to avoid the EMH because most people say it's best to do other parks on that day. With the time frame that I am going the crowds won't be as bad as last week but there are still some schools having their break.

My question is, I'm planning on doing MK on Saturday. Is that a bad day to go? I don't have park hoppers so I can't go in the morning and do another park in the afternoon. If I can, I plan on staying all day.

My only Satuday experience at MK was last May 17. We went to AK in the morning because I had read that MK is crowded on Saturdays. AK was not crowded, got everything done and headed to MK around 4 as we had PS's at LTT and wanted to see Spectro, as there was only one other night that week that it was scheduled. I had told the grandkids that we probably wouldn't get to ride anything because of the crowds. Surprise...not that crowded, we did Space Mountain, Buzz and the HM before dinner and POC, HOP before the parade. So you just never know. If it's the only day you can go then just go and make use of Fastpass and enjoy. Missing a few rides is better than not going at all.

I just spent 2 Saturdays at the MK. On 4/3, we got there at around parade time and were able to get on almost everything we wanted before and after dinner. It was crowded, but the crowds were at the parade and then to an early dinner. We took advantage of that. On 4/10 it was serenely, beautifully quiet in the morning until people started to arrive (probably from airports or the EMH at another park) at around 1:00. Then it began to fill up. We left at about 3:30.

I would say so for it. People travel on Saturday, so most likely that's why it was quiet. And don't forget, I went at an extremely busy week. have fun!
