MK on Saturday, April 30 or Sunday, May 1?

Please help me decide which day will be better to visit MK. We (4 adults) will only have one day to spend at MK and it can either be on Saturday, April 30 or Sunday, May 1. We plan to stay all day and try to do and see as much as possible.

I noticed Sunday has 2 showings of the Main Street Electrical parade, where Saturday only has one scheduled. Should I take that to mean Sunday is anticipated to be higher crowds?

I'll be in WDW on these days as well. We're actually making the 30th a break day and we're going to MK on the 1st. That was a choice made weeks ago but it was based on crowd calendars and Touring Plans subscription info.

I would say Sunday would be a good day as the Summit Cheer competition finals are on Sunday and the party is Sunday night at Hollywood Studios, so most attending the cheer competition will be at Hollywood on that night. Monday however should be slammed at MK as all the cheerleaders and families will be heading there for the first day after competition finishes.

We're going Saturday the 30th because I want our first park day to be MK ^_^ (arriving April 29th!)

I think I may have been wrong about having 2 showings of the MSEP on Sunday, May 1. It's not showing that way on the Disney World website, but I do see it on the wdwinfo hours. I started looking into it further because I was noticing no other nights in April or May had 2 times listed.
