MK now open 8am-1am on 9/3 why?

With everyone's plans already set through beginning of September I wouldn't think that would be in the plans.

hmm when i look neither HS nor MK have EMH on that monday or tuesday.
personally i enjoy going on EMH days.
i pay no attention to crowd calendars and recommended days.
i can get sooo much done in the 1hr AM EMH.
i'm glad MK is opening at 8am actually but i just found it odd.

MK will be having the additional charge Extra Magic Morning on Tuesday 9/6 and DHS is having one on Monday 9/5. And yes we will be there at 8AM on the Saturday they open early, I agree you can get a lot extra done. The additional charge Magic hours will add a couple of hundred people to the park before official park opening.

Labor Day weekend.

Yes, but I can't remember a year where they were ever open at 8am in Sept./Labor day weekend at all. I was definitely surprised by the early open, not EMH's but just regular 8am opening. They're usually open late...used to be as ate as 3am, but never a regular hours 8am open...odd.

i'll be there that day.
i know they don't finalize hours as early as they used to so i've just been randomly checking here and there to see if hours have changed for my stay.
i just checked and was shocked to see MK is open from 8am-1am on 9/3.
i find this odd. am i missing something?

also while on the subject of park hours just wondering if anyone else has heard a rumor that AK may kill late hours before September due to ROL not being up and running any time soon?

I will be there that day too! It's unfortunately my sister's actual birthday so we have to be in mk that day. I just know it's gonna be packed. She would flip to see ur figment tat!

idk how busy it really will be.
i've been playing around with my ADR's until a few weeks ago and was always able to find mulitple time slots for multiple restuarants including ones like BOG for that day.
granted its only my sister and i going so its a small party size.

Where? In the castle? We also do quick trips. 4 nights, 5 if we are lucky. This has been 2-3 times a year, but it will be lots more once we get the annual pass for sept. Then we will add in 3 nighters too.
