We chose to go to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday, November 12th, thinking it would be the least crowded (aside from AK) due to Food & Wine and Super Soap Weekend.
Now, I see that they have increased the hours and added another Spectro.

My main goal was to avoid huge lines and crowds. Do you think we would be better off at Epcot on this day..even though it is last weekend of F&W Festival?

Please help...because I will need to change ADR.

Thanks!

Veteran's Day is 11/11--another one of those 3-day holiday weekends, people often have the day off from work or school. that might be what's causing the larger crowds.

good luck with your choice!

We are caught with the same dilema. We are there the same time. We chose to do AK then DTD based on the hours and all the activities going on that day. Then I see the extended hours and started thinking that maybe we should take advantage of the extra hours but I am unsure of the crowd level. I just don't know what to do. Then we were going to go to the MK Sunday night but it would really work out better to be at MGM but it is EMH night and the last day of supersoap weekend. So, I wish I could help you make your decision but I am having the same problem. All the hotels except fort wilderness and ASMu are booked solid for the week. :scared1: Looks like it's going to be quite busy! We have tried to upgrade and/or change our reservation with the new code but all are booked.
I think I remember that somewhere people say that MK is busiest on Saturdays normally so, we planned around that but I think that no matter where we go on this weekend it is going to be crowded. Best of luck, maybe we'll see you there. We will be at CSR with our lime green mickeys on our bags! Hope you have a ball despite the apparent crowds. Chris.

We will be there the 10th to the 18 and I'm planning on steering clear of the parks for the week-end, except for the Food and Wine Festival. It's the last week-end of that, so we'd like to enjoy it. Otherwise, I'm planning on activities elsewhere. On Friday we're going to DTD to the Festival of the Masters art show. Saturday Food and Wine Festival and Sunday the My Disney Girl Princess Tea and the Disney Wilderness Preserve. It's difficult to "pick a park" with so much going on!!!

Thanks for your help.
I still have not decided what to do. Unfortunately, my DH is not much of a help either. He keeps saying that we can do "whatever makes me happy". :earsboy:

I just don't want to spend our day waiting in line. I read somewhere that Epcot may be the best bet for this day because it is so much larger and it does not seem as crowded. I just keep thinking about that last weekend of F & W.

Hard to decide.

Have a great day! ::MickeyMo

We will be at CSR Nov 12 - 18. We will have green mickey ears too. We were going to avoid MK that Saturday, but I got evening reservations in the Castle for dinner. Our plane doesn't get in until 2:40 so we won't get to MK until that evening. I hope it won't be too crowded..

This is our first trip to Disney too. It looks to be the week for newbies.

Have fun everyone.

Epcot will always feel less crowded than MK on a Saturday. That's a three day weekend as well. And the end of Jersey Week...so crowds will be up that weekend. If I had to choose though...I'd choose Epcot. Increasing the hours indicates they expect high crowds.

I watching to see how that weekend goes! We'll be arriving the Thursday going into that weekend next year, so I'm hoping you all come back and write up trip reports. :teacher:
