Oh I can see for Christmas Day but not on just a regular day. You be wasting so much time and missing out on so much.

Yeah but for some people seeing the parade or fireworks is the most important part of their trip. I think they are nuts personally.

I too am booked for the 29th and have called to double check because of everyone saying it ends on the 28th. So far, I have been charged and have a confirmation number so, I'm assuming it is on. I booked it the first day they took bookings back in June, first thing in the AM.

Double check that they charged you the correct amount. When I called to book for that day, they scheduled it. They amount they told me was much higher, however. I had the CM check it and she booked me for the Noodle Station buffet dinner. She then said she couldn't pull up the Wishes Dessert Party for that day.

I'm not trying to thread-crap, but don't want you to be disappointed if you show up and had the reservations done incorrectly. There is so much mis-information among the cast members taking reservations.

I hope you get it though. We'll be at Epcot on the 29th and then California Grill the next night for Wishes.

I heard that happening to a lot of people on the 23rd, but as far as I can tell from Allears, WDWInfo, and anywhere else I look, the Tomorrowland Noodle buffet dinner is only on Sundays, so it would be August 30th. I've read several other people posting they booked it for the 29th, so I would hope that would be a legitimate date. They probably just figured out it was stupid to end on a Friday night and might as well extend it to Saturday.

Woops! I got my dates messed up. I was not going to do MK on 29th due to extra magic hours on the 30th, so I didn't even bother to check that day. Ignore my previous post. Never mind!

I have a friend in WDW right now & I asked her to question a CM working the Dessert Party about an extension...here is my friend's reply....

"Checked the dessert party... catering service is trying to get an extension for their license at the noodle station spot. So far the CM said it should be good since the P&P is really not doing as good as when it started so is the new pirate dress up for boys.. they said it is just way toooooo expensive... even the BBB is not as hot as it was.. they are also coming up with a few catered events that will be opened with the public..."

so whether or not that was just a line from the CM or not, I don't know, but I'll take it as a positive sign!

I have a travel agent that booked our September Disney trip and I know that she is calling Disney every day for other client's ADR's, etc. I have told her several times that we want to get reservations for the Dessert Party as soon as it is available. She told me that she asks about the party every day that she calls. So I'm hoping that she hears something soon.

They were ALL fantastic... my favorites were the little truffles (YuMMY!!) and the tiramisu type stuff in the shot glass looking thing. OMG.

We went up a few times...We kept on hitting the plate of chocolate covered strawberries...When DS4 went to get more they were all gone...A CM saw he was looking for more strawberries and went running off for more...He brought us a plate full of them!

OMG those pictures look amazing. We are taking our DS13 and his BFF13 next year for their 8th grade graduation. I have been looking for a special treat and I think this would be perfect for them. They both have a sweet tooth and it would make a nice evening out for all of us. I did not read the whole thread but are they continuing the Dessert Party and if so how far in advance do you have to book? We are staying CL so maybe IPO can reserve this for us if they still have it. TIA
