Was the check in process better now? I've read so many horror stories about waiting in line for a half hour to check in, and then waiting in line for desserts, and then them not restocking that I was getting worried!

Didn't look like the restocking was a problem and you didn't mention lines for the food, but was it okay getting in in the first place? Thanks - we'll be there a week from tomorrow!

We arrived 15 minutes after the party started...We did not wait in any line...We walked right up....There was also no line for the food...No line at all at any point in the night...Restocking clearly not an issue because the CM went running when he noticed DS looking for something that was not there...We saw no empty trays the night we were there.

the check in process was.... meh. We waited in a LONG line outside the noodle terrace. at about 9:05 a lady came thru checking names off a list and handing out wrist bands.

once the line started moving, we were taken to our ASSIGNED table. First come WAS NOT first choice.

LInes for the food moved very quickly. there were two tables that had the same stuff on them abutting each other. the only thing that was hard were the drinks. it was kindof chaos but still better than some food courts.

I didn't find a shortage of food... AT ALL.

Thanks for both your insights! We'll hope for the best, but not be shocked if we do stand in line! We're actually going to be coming right from dinner at 'Ohana so I'm not really that worried about the food - doubt I'll be very hungry anyways, but I'm sure DS16 will be able to make up for my share!

I was wondering when you booked this (as you said they were checking off names and handing out wrist bands) did you have to give everyones names? Or was the group under one name?

If they extend this I will be booking for 8, including some Disers I will have to check the last names of.

When I checked us in, the reservation was in my name listed as a party of four. The other 3 people in the group where not listed by name. All they did was check me off the list and count heads for the other 3 people, then put our wristbands on us.

I called this morning at 7:30 and they still have not extended the dates. The CM was great and put me on hold to see if they had any idea if they would extend it. She said as of now they still don't know to try back next week.

Its not. My best friend and her family (party of 4) are there now and walked ight in last night. They had no ADR's what-so-ever (she doesnt even know what an ADR is). They really enjoyed the party and fireworks.
