MK Dessert Party Solo?

OK, this is sounding more and more like a great idea for my upcoming solo trip in 2 1/2 weeks. Do you think a solo would have any chance of getting a reservation for May 3, or is that way too soon and booked already?
And this has already been covered before, but do I have to call (Dining, I assume?) or can I book on-line?

I believe you will need to call as I couldn't find anything about it online, not even a description. I would think now would be the perfect time to try to book your ressie. I just booked Wednesday's party yesterday. I wanted to try for Tuesday because another solo will be there that night, but it was already full.

When I called I asked for the MK Dessert Party and the agent called it the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. I'd recommend calling as soon as you can so you can have a better chance at getting a specific date if you have one in mind. For me the dessert starts at 9:00 and then the fireworks are at 10:00. Call 407-WDISNEY to make the reservation. When you get into the system, I'd suggest saying Agent into the phone as soon as it gives you the option as I tried several names into the system and it didn't find it.

Oh, darn! Apparently there's no availability on May 3. I called twice because the first agent told me that the last night was May 1 confused3that's a grad nite) So I called again, and although the agent was very nice, no availability. Oh, well-I'll try again a few more times, but I don't have much hope. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that they're still doing in October when I go again.

Well, I wasn't able to get in for Tuesday, but I will be going Wednesday night. It should be a lot of fun.
