MK and take the monorail for QS?

We'll be in MK 1/29 and 2/1 (I know the 1st MK has EMH, but we love the park at night) We're just doing QS for meals. I was thinking of taking the monorail to either the Polly or Contemporary for an early dinner (4:30). Both QS menus seem to have a nice selection of nonburger items.
Anyone done this and been please with the little break and food you had? Which would you suggest? How much time to budget transportation and time to eat?
We do plan on eating an early lunch one day at CHH, maybe Peco for the other lunch.

Yup.
Hundreds of guests go to the MK area resorts for meals.
It's kind of a "thing."

About how much time would you plan for a meal doing this?

We go to Contempo Cafe all the time. It's nice to get out of the park for a bit.

I'd walk from MK to Contemporary, could be quicker. Unless you count sitting on the monorail part of your break. Sometime you ARE just to tired to walk.

Another option, besides the monorail, is the boat transportation to the Poly, GF or even the Wilderness Lodge. Not sure about the QS options though at these 3 resorts. I did make use of the Contempo Cafe for lunch one day when I was at the Contemporary about a week and a half ago.
