Does anyone know if Miyuki the Candy Artist still appears at the Japan Pavillion at World Showcase at Epcot? I saw a video clip of her on the WDWMAGIC website and thought it was amazing how she made candy in the shape of different animals.

I've never seen her there before, so I was wondering if anyone knew if she was still there. If she is, does anyone know if she comes out at certain times of the day or do you just have to be lucky enough to catch her when she happens to come out. Any info would be helpful, as I would like to catch her on my next trip Halloween 2006.

She was still there 2 wks ago...

Do you guys know what time of the day she's there? Is she there at specific times or all day?

When we were there a year ago, the times were posted next to her kiosk. Make sure you get there 10 min before her show starts to get a spot right up front so you can make a request, and it helps if a child makes the request. My wife was there with our two sons, unfortunately one of them was asleep in the stroller so only one of them got to make a request. He got a fire breathing dinosaur, yes dinosaur. It's on display on the mantle over our fireplace, unfortunately a piece of the fire broke off on the trip home.

She has set times that the comes out. It is amazing. Here is a website with entertainment times. You can get an idea of when she out and then get the definite times before you leave.

She is so much fun to watch - we didn't catch her this trip because we were trying to fit in all the Holiday storytellers - but ususally we make sure to see her once during each trip!!!

Oh my gosh - she is my favorite. I was first in line to see her in Sept and told her I had been waiting to see her, and she made me a pink flamingo (I am 33, so she does not just give them to kids). My DH laughs at me because I do an imitation of her. She is just so cute! Do not miss her if possible. If you cannot check Steve's site before you leave, her times will be on the time guide at the front of the park or at your hotel.

We've been lucky enough to get her lollipops twice. The first time we got it was in 2004 and waited at her kiosk for her to come out, she only does 8 lollipops at a time, the first time she came out, we didn't get one, but we waited at the kiosk until her next showtime, which was about 45 minutes later, and my dd was right in front, and she made a beautiful swan for my dd. The second time was this past october when we checked the time schedule for her and stood at the kiosk about 15 minutes prior to her coming out, my dd was upfront again, and this time she was first and got a blue dragon. My dh also imitates her, it's so funny, she doesn't speak a lot of english, and she tends to repeat what she's saying alot. It's really amazing, have fun!
