My brain is seriously running on pandemic lag. Anyone know the PIF for DCL? I was sure they would quickly adopt the mixed dose approval, but…. It’s only sailings up to Mar 2022 that are 60 days out for PIF? How many days out to PIF for our Aug cruise, anyone know?
Thanks so much! I've just stopped thinking about anything vacation related (this cruise has been pushed out & OBB credit extended 2x because of Covid) and all of my knowledge seems to have disappearedI suggest checking the reservation confirmation DCL sent you when you booked your cruise.
However, the info that DCL sent when I booked my Aug 2022 Alaska cruise was:

We have a DCL Alaska cruise at the end of July. I can see updates needing to be in place before the end of this year because the PIF dates for the SD to Van cruise plus the two one way Hawaiian cruises are coming up before end of December. Thanks so much! Definitely. I would hate to lose this cruise - we've had money for 2 cabins tied up since 2018 - I think it was 2018 or 2019, but who can remember anymoreWe have a DCL Alaska cruise at the end of July. Good for you!! How such a successful company has such poor organization, communication and tech and still remain viable is a mysteryI did end up sending DCL an email (why I don't know, I knew they would not have any info). Got a quick response but it annoyed me as she just copied and pasted what it says on the websiteI was feeling snarky so I replied "yes thank you, I CAN read." Then I copied and pasted from the CDC website where it states about mixed vaccines. And said it would be a shame to lose so much business because DCL can't be bothered to update their policy.
No response to that one

I looked yesterday and NO, they have still not updated their policy to include our AZ/mRNA mixHas anyone heard if DCL has updated their website to allow passengers who have a mixed dose of AstraZeneca and an MRNA?
I am getting so nervous because my family and I have a March break 2022 cruise booked and I dont know whether to keep it or rebook so I dont lose my fcc and obc.....so stressedI looked yesterday and NO, they have still not updated their policy to include our AZ/mRNA mix![]()

I hear you. We have a DCL Alaska cruise in July pretty much PIF (tiny balance remaining) due to moved funds, OBB and FCC. I need to know!! We are in BC and not expected to get our boosters til 6-8 months after our 2nd shot which puts us around late winter (anytime between January and end of March). We are in Ontario and would get our booster before our cruise. (as long as they open the boosters to everyone after 6 months of your last dose) Does anyone know if Disney has any rules on how far apart the doses have to be ? It would just be so much easier if they would join the band wagon, like all the other cruise lines, and say that mixed doses are accepted of Astrazeneca and an MRNA.Which province are you in? Ontario should be offering boosters of the one you had last, which would then make you fully vaccinated with that. Not sure about other provinces.
I just saw the email!!!! I'm SO excited! Now all we need is for testing to get back into Canada to be either, a more cost effective and quicker to get back, Rapid Antigen or no testing at allDCL finally updated their policy!!! Also, guests 5 and older must be fully vaccinated in order to sail after January 13, 2022.
