Hello all! I've introduced myself over on the Roll Call thread, but I'm Renee and I got accepted to Transportation Fall 2010. I just got my purple envelope this weekend when I returned to the apartment and was super psyched about the Mission: Timekeeper stuff in the folder (new this year?) Tried to log on, and I get stuck on the initializing page. I have tried three different browsers on my MacBook and none of them will load. Came up almost right away on my roommate's Linux, using one of the same browsers. So my question is, can you only run this game on a PC? I sent the question to Disney's tech support, but got back a standard "don't use aol, it sucks" message. I know I had to use IE on my roommate's PC to accept my role, as when I tried typing my birthdate on the mac it kept telling me that I had to type it exactly the way I was typing it, and it wouldn't let me move on. It's probably better that I don't have access to it, as I really should be working on my comps stuff, but it's still annoying. I couldn't find a thread about this anywhere either, so if there's already one you can just point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Generally they want you to use IE and Microsoft computers as technical support has told me several times because I use Apple over Microsoft and so I had some problems that eventually got resolved. I've run the game on Safari and it works fine. Just takes time to load. As long as your computer is updated with the flash software it should be fine. I can't get it to show the end score results or keep the new ones but it does allow me to do most of it on Safari. Use IE as much as possible. I used it on campus computers and it saved my results there from using IE. Best of luck.

Thanks! I figured out that it was because I have not enough memory on my hard drive left...it looks like it needs about 1.8 gigs to actually load on my computer, which I only have when I first open the computer and don't do anything else! Finally got it to work.

Yeah it's always best to keep at least 10% of your total hard drive disk space free for running programs that you have installed. Externals are cheap in some cases if you're getting full on storage space.
