Hubby loved it and we did it 3 times. I was really nervous considering what happened a couple of months ago and psyched myself up over it, loads of people had said how amazing it is and the best ride ever but it just didn't do it for me, I think maybe I was expecting it to be a load better than it actually was and to feel the effects more.

Overly impressed...:crazy2: :faint: . I gave it too little credit.

I finally found someone with tha same opinion ...:goodvibes

I did Mission Space almost 2 years ago and I wasn't worried but I felt a little discomfort in the ride. I think is beautiful, but I didn't feel good sensations :confused3

I enjoyed it. I'll go on it again once or twice on my next trip. But I really expected more. My fiance would ride it all day if he could. It makes me feel really sick if I ride it more than twice in a day :faint:

I don't know what I expected, but I definitely expected more.

When you consider the technology that went into building MS, I definitely think it's a pretty amazing attraction. Now it may not be everyone's idea of a great ride, especially if your idea of great rides is based on the roller coaster model, but I do think Disney did a fantastic job of creating a mission to Mars simulator. It's as close as you're going to get to the real thing outside of NASA.

I personally think you'll be let down or impressed based on your expectations. Unfortunately through advertising and other forms you generally are a little more built up than you should be.

I think the ride is amazing. However, I was still let down a little. As magnificent as it is, Im simply saying that my expectations were thrown a little higher than i felt they should have been. dont believe me? Just watch a Disney video promotion on the ride.

I think the technology is great. However I dont feel it's realistic like they claim it to be. The G's are less than that of many coasters. The ride system is not unique to Disney. The actual ride system was mirrored from other world attractions, which is a problem many disney purists had with the attraction's design. Also, as much as I love MIssion space, I still think Universal's Islands of Adventure's Spiderman ride is still more technologically advanced than Mission Space. I dont like Spiderman as much but when you remove your bias, the Spiderman ride is more technologically advanced in itself.

So while I will say that it's one of my favorite rides and I just love it, I do think it's overhyped, along with Soarin.
