Missing Bob....2 years...

I was just listening to the podcast where the team was talking about their Bob stories on this sad 2 year anniversary. I tried my best not to cry but I just couldn't help it. The good news is, the stories were so good that the tears were through laughter and smiles -- very Bawb-like. I miss you Bob.

I downloaded this to listen to on the plane, maybe I should wait until I'm alone

Yes, I love hearing new Bob stories. I miss his funny segments on the show. Still sad that I never got to meet him in person, but grateful I got to know him through the show.

Indeed you are missed Bob -- my thoughts with his family

Catching up on the podcast and just heard this part of the show today. Even tho I never met him personally, I miss Bawb too - I still remember when I booked PC 1.0, I was excited that I'd meet him and hoped to be able to give him a hug! He is surely missed. :grouphug:

cheers,
:flower3:

Reading this thread and listening to this week's podcast brought tears to my eyes. It's amazing to me how this man that I've never even met in real life can be so dearly missed by me...even 2 years later. I felt like Bob was an old friend, someone I've known my whole life. And even though I don't make too many posts here on podcast board, I'm not kidding when I say that you guys have been a huge part of my life. I feel like the whole podcast team is really close to my heart, and I hope that one day I get to meet you all in person.

I think of Bob all the time, and miss his voice when I'm listening to the podcast. :sad1:

Amazing how fast two years go by. I usually listen to the podcast through streaming, and the only show I keep on my mp3 player is the best of bob show. I love to listen to it when I'm taking a walk, because his stories really lift my spirits. :)

My daughter and I were walking into Publix the day before his anniversary and there was a man, with his back to us, that so resembled Bawb..same style clothes, same body type, ball cap with curly hair sticking out.....we both got a little freaked. (From the front, looked NOTHING like him though)

as we are family friends, we both still miss him a lot.....

Pete said it a couple of weeks ago. We all have become family and Bob quickly found a place in my heart. He could always made me laugh.
Bob "Thanks for the memories" you are surly missed.

I never met Bob, but I felt like I knew him through the podcast. Normally I do not get emotional when a "celebrity" passes away, but for some reason, I still get emotional about Bob.

I listened to the Podcast and found it hard to believe it was the anniversary of Bob's passing. Then I went and downloaded the latest Podcast and noticed that Bob had passed TWO years ago.

Seems like yesterday.

In our 2007 or the first 2008 WDW trip we got on the Safari ride at AK. The driver LOOKED like Bawb. The driver SOUNDED like Bawb! :confused3:lmao:

I told that DW that Bawb was driving the truck! :rotfl2:

I have looked for that same CM every time we get on the Safari ride but I have not seen him since. So it must have been Bawb.

I decided earlier in the year to just leave the Missing Bawb icon on the signature. :thumbsup2

Later,
Dan

I still think of Bawb as well. Quite often actually. So weird. Never met the man but he made a big impression on me. Miss ya Bawb.
