Missing Bob....2 years...

Wow it's been two years now since Bob's passing. I am sure he is zooming around heaven on a kaht and is proudly watching over all of the podcast crew and fans.

(Today is my birthday but Bob was my first thought this morning....)

I started listening to the podcast only about 2 months before Bob's passing and our first trip. I never met Bawb, yet I always think about him when I go to Disney.

The day before Bob passed away I had been looking at his 2008 Flower & Garden pictures on the DIS and there was an awesome one he took of the big display at the enterance, with Minnie, Mickey and Goofy. I loved it and set it as my desktop background picture. And it is still my desktop background today. My own little tribute to Bob.

I remember that day too well. We had lost my father in law just 4 days before Bob's passing. It seems like we had just returned from his funeral when I got on the boards and read about Bob. That was a hard week.

I still miss hearing Bob's voice on the podcasts. I did go watch some of the cable show that Corey put up today. I just love hearing Bob's voice and his "accent" again. It still brings a smile to my face.

It's hard to believe it's been two years. Bawb was an amazing man, he touched so many of us in many different ways. I am still amazed at how much I miss someone who I had only met in person once, but had listened to on the podcast many, many times.
I am so greatful that I was lucky enough to have him in my life, even via the podcast.

Every so often I listen to the special Bob podcasts and I find myself smiling the entire time................wonderful human being.

Two years! Sometimes it seems like just yesterday and others like it has been 'forever' since we have heard Bob's antics on the PodCast. When we were in DL last August DD and I had our first DoleWhips and remembered Bob while we enjoyed them.

Thinking of Dian-er and the whole family (including his Podcast family) today.

Hard to believe it's two years. I used to love listening to him on the podcast and could never understand why people said he had an accent.

Val & I were planning on attending the podcast taping that year and it was going to be our first opportunity to meet anybody from the podcast. Sadly, Bob passed and the even wound up being more of a memorial meet and greet rather than the taping. We did have an opportunity to meet several of the podcasters, including John, Kevin and Kathy, as well as Bob's wife Diana. We think of Bob often.

Bob certainly added a special touch to the podcast! In heaven though...he doesn't need the kaht or the boot! I've watched the videos he did with his kaht cam those are so great!

I was just listening to the podcast where the team was talking about their Bob stories on this sad 2 year anniversary. I tried my best not to cry but I just couldn't help it. The good news is, the stories were so good that the tears were through laughter and smiles -- very Bawb-like. I miss you Bob.
