Every time my kids turn on the TV they always check to see what is on the Zoog (Disney channel) first. Not because they are lovers of all things Disney, they just seem to really enjoy the programming they offer.
With the success this channel is having with young adults it is surprising to see so little synergy with the theme parks. Where is the occasional live show, parade element, interactive exhibit. Is the programming here just not transferable, too narrow an audience for the parks to target, or just lacking any single identifiable character to build around?
Sure there are the ever-present infomercials about the park, but these really don't do anything extra to stimulate my kid's interest. They already know and want to go on all the existing rides.
