Mary, the girls are growing up so beautifully, bless their hearts.
You should totally be showing them off!!

It seems like just a few short years ago they were just little babes. Just like Brook's little Henry. You blink and then they are grown, trust me! Having a 20 yr old and a 13 yr old I'm still in a daze about how fast they grow up.
Thank you for sharing them with us in your PTR and TR, it's such an honor to watch all the Dis kids growing up. Okay, I'm making myself cry now.
Can't wait to see what adventures y'all get into this time!! \

Oh, and thank you Ms. Kat for being so undertanding of my coming's and going's on here. I truly feel loved by my fellow Dis'ers when you let me know you understand my situation.

As for Alisha...I only pray my boys find a doll baby like that to spend their lives with...she reminds me of me... I used to do things like that for my MIL...you seem to really appreciate it!

I love the resort choice. That one is on the short list of the top resorts I want to stay in, but haven't yet. Every time we book a trip I always price it out, but my wallet apparently doesn't want to stay there or the Contemporary or the Poly quite as much as I want to.

I'm glad that you were able to get your flight changed to something more reasonable. Here's hoping they don't do something like that again between now and the trip.

Sounds like you had a very successful Iowa excursion and wedding planning session. Good for all of you. You day-1 plans sound great as well. Beach Club is such a wonderful resort and Stormalong Bay is by far the best of the resort pool offerings. That was probably the bit of the place we liked most (along with being able to walk to the WS). We were only there a few days, but I’d really enjoy going back sometime. Good news on the flights as well. Sometimes you win.

Love your gift from Alisha, how thoughtful of her! Its so wonderful that you both have developed this close bond. From my viewpoint she is definitely fortunate to be coming into your family. Alisha must have been so happy to get her headpiece and veil (thanks to you)

for Airtran making it all right with you and getting in earlier so you and Mary and the girl take ME together!

BC has been in our radar, for the SAB factor alone& Hopefully you will end up adding another favorite resort to your list. BTW, we love WPE too&.it is on our To-do list every trip. We miss a few items they removed from the menu, but all in all a great CS! The girls will flip over BOG!! We ate there in January and were seated in the west wing (which we preferred over being in the main dining room& the girls may feel different).

That is a much better flight! And I'm jealous you are staying at BC. I really want to try it and this August would be a great time, but I hate not knowing what kind of room you will get. They have so many different combos and we need to have 3 separate beds. I know you can make a request, but that is not guaranteed and it would really be horrible if we got there and only had 2 queens. Someone would have to sleep on the floor

Super happy to hear that your flight was able to be change to a better time - at no charge to you - what a relief. Air Tran did that to us for our 2008 trip - except there was NO email or notification whatsoever. I was very angry when I finally found out - because their schedule change would have made us miss our layover flight (which didn't get changed ) They were very nice about getting us on our earlier flight again. It's the first and last time I've flown with them though.

I'm happy too; and this works better as I won't be exhausted our first full day. We've not flown Air Tran since the last time Markie went with us back in 2000! But I couldn't pass up $215 round trip.

How fun that you get to stay at Beach Club - it's one I'd love to try some day too... I am afraid it will be quite some time - however.

Trust me...if it weren't that Mary had DVC, I wouldn't be staying there anytime soon.

Your day one plans sound fabulous!

So happy the flights turned out great - the original change worked out in your favor! I'd like to try Priceline, but fear I'd wind up with seven connectins via Timbuktu!

You get to choose your flights and whether you want nonstop. We have used them numerous times for car rentals and a few times now for our flights (we used them for our August trip too)

We've stayed at BC, but not the Villas yet. Of course, SAB is hard to beat! Hope you all enjoy BCV and want to go back!

I think I'm going to love it; I also have a feeling that despite my reservations, I'm really going to like the Boardwalk in December too.

What a great first day! The Plaza and Be Our Guest! Mary's girls are just too cute!!

The girls enjoyed the Plaza when we went last year, and Mary was so happy to get a BOG ADR after I told her about our fabulous meal there in December.

I probably just should have booked an earlier flight to begin with, but I didn't want to have to use another day of vacation since I know the girls wouldn't get there until later.

It's amazing how fast our DIS children have grown up; I cannot believe the young lady Juliana has become.

Beach Club has been on our short list too; as a matter of fact, now that we've done AKL, Poly, Contemporary, Old Key West and will be doing the Boardwalk, this covers all of my deluxes that I wanted to try. I would love to get back to the Poly at some point.

The weekend was very successful and we had a lot of fun. I can't wait to go to Stormalong Bay...I've heard so much about it. And I love being able to walk to Epcot and DHS. It's nice to win once in awhile.

When we took ME all together a year ago, it was my first ME experience. I figured out I still have 10 days vacation with the days I already have off and my boss doesn't care so I'm sure it will be fine.

Thanks, Camille. It was so sweet of her to pick that up for me while they were on their "anniversary" trip. I shed a few tears; we are blessed to have her.

I agree, Suzi. I still have to pinch myself that I am staying there. I didn't realize they had so many different types of rooms. We are lucky as each of the girls gets one of us each night.

So Mark and I went to K-Mart tonight for a picture frame for the wall. As we were walking through the store, I spotted these and could not resist...not at only $7.98 each:

I also got two pairs of capris -- one black, one beige.

And then I looked at bathing suits. At my age and not so petite size, I'm not real fond of two pieces anymore. I found this one piece and it was exactly what I've been for the last couple of years. It looks blue on top, but is actually purple:
