Misc. Items in Studio OKW units

I'm putting together our initial packing list. We're in a studio, so I know that forks/plates and such are paper. What other items would we need to bring? What about small things..such as trash bags, dishtowels, dishsoap...that kind of stuff.

Also, do you know what type filters the coffeemakers use, such as cone or regular round?

If you can think of something you always bring to your unit, luxury item or not, I'd love to know . Thank you so much!!!!

I'm a little early, but ANXIOUS! I can't believe we planned our last trip in 2 weeks!

Coffee makers take regular round filters. Bring something to wrap leftovers in. Saran wrap or ziplock bags are very handy.

Bring salt and pepper. I also bring a small spice bottle of Essence (Emeril's) to spice up food I may prep there.

You don't need trash bags, dish towels, dish soap or paper towels, or sponge as they are all provided.

I keep a DVC box ready to go. (It's a rubbermaid plastic container, mid size). It has the above in it, along with extra paper plates (even for the larger villas, I don't always want to use the dishes) drink containers (insulated) and a tiny cappucino machine that works on top of the stove (obviously no good for a studio). There are a couple of sharp knives in there too.

I also remember needing paper napkins.

Bags of microwave are also a great idea, the popcorn in the theme parks is very expensive!

You may also wish to bring a night light if you have kids, or just if you don't want to stub your toe at night on the way to the bathroom!

You will love OKW, its my favorite resort so far!

We don't bother with napkins, because the paper towels in the unit suffice nicely for that purpose.

Kathy, thanks..OKW looks nice, and from everything I've heard, so far, it seems like it will be relaxing . We are spending a couple of down time days, here. Can't wait to check out the pool, and my girls want to check out the sandcastle!!

A sharp paring knife comes in handy for cutting up fruit, cheese, etc.
