Mirror on Castle broke??

Hey. I jsut got back and I was wondering if anyone else noticed that the mirror on the caslte was doing some pretty messed up things. I woudl have the Disneyland Paris caslte on it but it would say something like Walt Disney World 1971. Ya know wut I mean? Was anyone else there Dec. 4-10?? just wondering if they got it fixed or if any one new about it. thanks

It has been fixed. Also FYI WDW opened in 1971 not 1977.

It was doing the same thing in September, October & November. It seems to be right on some of the castles but not others.

Well it is important to realize that there are only three images shown on mirror, but there are 5 names listed below. Disneyland and Hong Kong Disneyland both use the same image, and WDW and Tokyo also both use the same image.

I don't think they use the same image, at least judging from the pins created of the mirror. Honk Kong has mountains in the background and Tokyo has the volcano of Disney Seas, for instance.

Nah, They don't use the same pictures. I noticed that the colors of the skies were different between Disneyland, Ca castle and Disneyland, HK castle. One was pink and the other was blue. Same with WDW's caslte and Tokyo Disneyland. I didnt notice the volcano for Disney Sea though.

This was my second time being there during the 50th aniversary. So I'm glad I got to see it when it was working in May.

Thank you for posting this! We were there Dec. 7-11, and I noticed that the mirror images weren't changing. I just figured every time we walked by the castle we just happened to catch the same image. Now I know it was broken!

Dang. I am 100% wrong. I just pulled out my pictures form when I was there in May. And it looked like in all my pictures of the castle that they only have 3 images. The skies for Cinderella's caslte at WDW and TDL are both pink. The skies for Sleeping Beauty's castle at DLC and DLHK are both yellow. The skie for Sleeping Beauty's at DLP is the only one that is blue. Sorry for that. Hm, maybe i need to go back to refresh my memory. he he

It wa never taken down. However it is working correctly now. The names and images simply rotate thus all it takes is for one to get stuck and they will no longer be in sync.

Its not really the mirror from Snow White. It is actually supposed to be a stained glass window not a mirror at all. Additionaly the mirror in Snow White did not have the decorative metal work that the display on the castle has.
