Shoot, I voted before reading. I like Miracle Whip for things like tuna salad and potato salad, but I don't like either for a sandwich. I use mustard on lunchmeat sandwiches and on subs, I like Italian dressing.
Well, I like miracle whip for tuna and potato/macaroni salad. But on meat sandwiches like roast beef or on steak fries I like mayo. So I have to buy both!
Totally depends on the sandwich. Mayonnaise and Miracle Whip are two entirely different animals in my opinion. Nothin like a garlic bologna sandwich with Miracle Whip and I use it for my tuna salad and devilled eggs, but for roast beef/ham sandwiches or potato salad? Or any dip mix that calls for mayonnaise? Definitely Hellmans mayo.
