On another thread people were talking about using mint.com. I had considered using them years ago, but thought having all that info in one place might be a security risk, and also wondered how much hassle they are to use, as well as benefits with using them. Would anyone care to share their experiences?

I've heard good things about mint.com - I don't use them, as I use another (offline) product called YNAB Pro (www.youneedabudget.com), which is similar, but doesn't automatically pull info from your banks. (You have to manually download the info if you want to import it and not enter in the info manually.)

I guess you have to weigh the pros of having a budget (VERY important), vs the possibility of having a security issue. Perhaps google the site and see if any complaints of hacking are out there?

its a good service. I've never had a problem with them.
