Hi DISers,
We are going to Disney World in 116 Days
and I am so excited. I love everything Disney and this was a surprise trip for my family. I have already started planning, researching and buying things for the trip.
My DD will be 7 months when we go and we are flying for this trip. (We usually drive because we take our camper and stay at the Fort.) Because this trip is a short trip we wanted to fly so we would get the most out of our days plus we are going with my niece who is doing the Dance the Magic and all the dancers stay at the Port Orleans Resort.
I have been reading all the different threads on flying with strollers and strollers in the parks. My first thought was to carry our DD in her car seat carrier through the airport and on the plane. Then we would have the car seat for the bus ride to the hotel. Once at the park we would rent a stroller from Orlando Stroller Rentals to use during our stay.
However, a few things have made me rethink this and decide to take my own stroller. My DH thinks that it will be easier to have the stroller at the airport and just check it at the gate. When I went online to look at purchasing a stroller I found the Minnie Mouse Indigo Stroller. Of course I love it because it's Disney. However, I'm trying to justify spending the money.
Does anyone have this stroller? If so what do you think? Have you taken it to Disney? On a plane? Is it worth the money?
Thanks for any help you can give me.
Allison
