Minnie Marathon WISH Meet

Hi everyone!

We usually meet around 4:30 pm on the Sat before the Minnie 15K. In the past we have met at Earl of Sandwich, but there's going to be a lot of us this year so we may need a larger venue. We need a place where we can all sit together and chat and eat, then take a team photo. Please vote for your favorite!

i have voted for POFQ, but really think either of the food courts would be fine. I will go anywhere to meet you all- eek, it's very exciting!

I voted for POR, I've been there and it's big. I don't know if Boardwalk would allow room for us and others and not overpower others that might be there. Plus, I think the POR has more options for food and such if people are more inclined to eat dinner at that time.
Just my 2cents.

I voted for Boardwalk bakery. Selfishly speaking, that is where I am staying so it will be easy for me. I also have dinner at 5:30 so a 4:30 meet somewhere else would be tight. I usually don't get to go to the meets, so I am really hoping to get to this one!

I voted for POR but either of the PO spots have quite a bit of seating. Love EOS but think it would be hard to get a large group in seeing as it's always busy and there isn't that much room.

Hi. I voted for Boardwalk too, like Becky - it's a selfish vote I have dinner ressies at 6:30 in Italy, and I really want to meet everyone - which I could also do the morning of the race too...

I voted for the POFQ food court. I forgot that we have a 5:30PM ADR so I'll probably only be popping in and staying for a few minutes. If we get a good rate for a rental, we'll probably be a little more flexible since it will be easier to get around.

ETA: Where is everyone meeting on the morning of the 15K?

I'm excited that Dh and I will get to meet everyone before the race Sunday AM.

I voted EoS...I think it is easy for everyone to get to for those not driving one bus instead of 2 is how I am thinking.

I'm also for Earl of Sandwich, it would be the easiest for us to get to, and Scott and I both really like the food there.

I haven't voted because I don't want to impact the results since there is a good chance I won't be able to make it (I will have my sister with me and she is not going to like the idea of leaving the parks), but the only place that I could possibly make it is BW Bakery (since it would be a quick walk from EPCOT). I am looking forward to getting to meet some people, but it might have to be before and after the races only.

Looks like Riverside narrowly edged out Boardwalk Bakery. Anyone for a repoll with just the two choices or is everyone okay with this?

Now that I am officially going to participate, I was going to vote for EOS - for the ease of getting there and the Ghiradelli fuel stop. Boy, I'm of no help here.

Anywhere you all decide, I'll definitely try to make it.
