I guess maybe a revote of the top two since other people are now signing up that didn't sign up before.
I still see no probelm with Riverside. Transpo is not that difficult. If you happen to be at a park just take the bus to PORiverside resort l. If you are at a hotel take a bus to a park near you and then transfer to another bus to POR. I do this ALL the time!! I hate driving my car around. If I am at a park which I probably will be before the meet, I will just take a bus to POR or DTD, whichever is all the same transportation wise. I just think the bigger the place maybe the better for "gathering and meeting of people" and it is ALL indoors. Who knows what the weather may bring.

I have to say that I agree, there are soooo many new people signing up so maybe we need to try to direct more people over here to vote...or post a new poll with the top two choices? I've just noticed that the list keeps growing but a large percent haven't voted yet. Just my two cents .

There are now OVER 100 people signed up on the Minnie Team list thread! WOW!! I bet a lot of them have not or did not vote.

The other alternative is to just pick the place that has the biggest gathering area and set it in stone...each place was soo close in the voting, I'm sure we'll all show up regardless of where it is at. "pick it and they will come"

I am not sure I'll be attending, but the poll looks to be closed anyway, so I'm not sure whether to voice an opinion.

I think EoS is very convenient but the mandate to find a place with plenty of options and plenty of seating I think puts us at a food court, instead of DtD. I'd hate to think a lot of people might not show up if they don't know how to manage the transportation system, though. Once we decide on a location, we'll need to post very good transportation hints for the newbies!

ETA: Oops! I should have mentioned that my view on Boardwalk Bakery is that there is almost no seating and there are very limited menu options for dinner, IIRC.

I'll add these thoughts......

We've had the poll up since March 10th and about a third have voted. Not all of those signed up for the Minnie are going to come out for the meet. Of those that voted, not everyone is going to be able to show up at locations other than what they voted for. So, for tradition's sake, maybe we should just stay with Earl of Sandwich at Downtown Disney. Last year, we had about 23 people and some walk-ups after the photo shoot. Most people didn't eat at EoS, just chatted.

I know I suggested Boardwalk Bakery, but at 4:30 in the afternoon, there is NO shade, and as Cam has pointed out, no seating.

At the very least, we WILL all get together in the parking lot of AK on Sunday morning!! Anne

I'm inclined toward POR, but i don't want to sway everyone that way if that's not better for the team. POR has more space and that was a good point made about the weather...POR is indoors, if it rains, which is common in FL at 4pm, EOS only has outdoor seating that can accomodate our group.

We can do another poll if necessary, but we're getting short on time.

POR is fine. Plus, people can boat there from DTD if they don't have a vehicle.
