Okay, so let's try to start planning some stuff. What does everyone think of Earl of Sandwich on Saturday around 4:30 and a WISH meet on Sunday after the race?

Wouldn't it be absolutely the coolest to get a group picture with Minnie and Daisy after the race? They were so cute last year.

I did a trip report after Rhonda and I did the Minnie weekend last year (and the report is on disneyrunning.com), but here is the pic from post-race of the two of us:

Is that a cute turquoise running skirt???! I love it! How does it feel when you're running? I'm contemplating getting a couple running skirts.

Vicki -- Yes, my race partner, Rhonda wore that great race skirt for the Minnie and after she told me how comfortable it was, I started wearing one for my LRs and for races. Very comfortable.

I knew there was a reason I loved ya, Cam!

I have been there 3 times. The first was with girlfriends & we had a blast. The next time with Chad was just so-so (off night with that crowd maybe?). Last year we went Sunday night after the Minnie & had a blast again. I think you *need* to go there with just the girls, & leave the boys home!


Oh boy, this is getting more & more irresistable!

Ya know, coming into these threads sometimes is like walking into the middle of a conversation. I clicked on the last page for this thread and this was the first thing I saw Guess I'll have to back pedal to find out who JR is and why Scott's not drinking while Carrie sings

We are talking about heading to Jellyrolls Sunday night for some adult beverages and dueling pianos! Sound good?

And I opened up to this page and thought Carrie was stealing my Johnny Rzeznik! No one steals my Johnny!

Anywho, this is getting more & more tempting. Like I need tempting to go to Disney World, duh! But, you know what I mean.

Sadly, the only Goo Goo Dolls the guys at Jellyrolls know is "Iris." Somehow, I will live though.

Kristi -- I've added "Let Love In" to my training/race mix and it has a great beat! I think I have to pull out my copy of "Dizzy Up the Girl" -- IIRC it had some good stuff on it, too! BTW, I LOVE that we are getting you closer and closer to committing to Minnie weekend. How is the ebaying going? And -- did you read that Wendy is looking for other WISHers to go in on the AKL package offered by Anthony Travel? I don't know if that location/package is at all attractive, but just in case you missed it. . . .

O.k. Krisiti-shouldnt you be listing things on Ebay? You have an extra trip to pay for. Are you registered yet? Bet you thought you were too old for peer pressure, huh? But at least this is the good kind.

Cam-I love that pic. I was feeling so bad after the race last year that I didnt even look up from my shoes, just went straight to the car, so I didnt see Minnie & Daisy last year. I would love a pic!!!!!

Sounds like its coming together. I just need to find some good airfare now! (oh, and start training )

I just told Chad that you guys are tempting me with Jellyrolls. (He doesn't know I brought the darn thing up!) I told him I have to go if you guys are going to go to Jellyrolls for little ole me!

Seriously, he doesn't care if I go. I just have that guilt thing going on. I think I am getting over it though!

Tiffany - haven't started eBaying yet. I meant to, really, on Sunday. But I kind of slept all weekend. Went out scrapping Friday night - bed at 1am, slept until 4:30pm! Then went out with my crazy 'Goo Girls' Saturday night - bed at 2am, slept until 4pm. I hereby promise to get something listed for tomorrow night! I have airplane tix to buy!

ETA: I saw my mom tonight. A couple weeks ago she said she could not do the Minnie with me this year. They just bought a new house, haven't sold the old one - not used to having a mortgage. And she is getting back from a week at WDW with my sister & her daughters the weekend before Minnie. So tonight for the heck of it, I asked if she was sure she couldn't go. She said she wanted to go, but was afraid to ask/tell Dad! I may be able to drag her along yet! BWAAHHH!!!

I bought my airline tickets today. Only $213 non-stop. We are going to have so much fun at the Minnie. Is it May yet?

She went to JR with us last year. She was not so impressed. Sam & I on the other hand had a blast & spent like 5 hours there!

The best flight I can get is $155 rt - which is not bad at all for non-stop from NH. BUT, the return is 6:45am Monday! I am going to be on Southwest's site constantly waiting for a later flight to open up.
