Michelle, PD to you. Sorry about the back. I know that is not a happy thing.

I haven't been able to get much in these last couple of days. I did a killer workout with Physical Trainer on Monday though and wow! it felt great. I missed my LR this weekend, but everything else has me plodding along and I think that my IT issue is not going to be an issue for Minnie! I am so happy about that.

For those traveling this weekend have a safe trip and a Happy Easter.

Morning all--I was going to say "Morning ladies" but thought that Robert might be offended!;)

Hitting the gym for a class this am--It's called Gliding Harmony--using discs it combines cardio, weights, yoga and pilates. Hard but fun. And then I'm gonna get 8 miles in tonight, if it kills me--Okay, so I won't go that far--but since we're headed to FLorida on Sat. I need toget my long run in tonight. I'll do 5 by myself, and then finish up with the girls from the running clinic. Weather here is beautiful for running, can't wait to get outside!:thumbsup2
 
Oh, Becky, how cool! When I am up there this summer, we will have to do a mini- WISH meet!! :)

I could be wrong about the estimated finish time. I thought I remembered figuring it out and writing it on. Does anyone else remember?

So, any takers for the following events? I've indicated in parentheses the number of openings:
Saturday 2 pm -- tea at the Grand Floridian (3)
Sunday 6:40 pm -- dinner at Chef Mickey's (1)
Sunday 8:00 pm -- WISHes cruise (departs from the Contemporary boat dock) (1)
Monday 9:40 a.m. -- breakfast at Spoodles (3)

Have fun training this weekend everyone! I'll "see" you all on Monday!

There'll be at least 9 or 10 of us that will get there btwn 9:30 or 10 after the WISHes cruise.
 
My training is going well. I did 3 miles today and my LR on saturday will be 5 miles. I still feel really nervous about finishing this 15k. Hopefully once I am doing 6 - 7 miles I will feel more confident about it. I just really want to finish and I am running it alone! I hope to connect with some of you beforehand so I do not feel alone:hug:

Becky, I am feeling the same way! My schedule this week was two 3.5 runs and my first 5 mile will be this weekend. I am running with a friend but she has a much faster pace than me so she'll likely be off on her own waaaaaaay ahead of me in the crowd :rotfl:

Tonight is my "crosstraining" night, and I am going to a power yoga class. I go every week, but I know it is going to feel extra wonderful tonight. Between the extra miles I am putting in this week and the bike ride I did on Monday, my hips are so tight I can barely seperate my feet! :scared:

Four more weeks!

Erica - I am so glad to read someone who is on par with me and my training. Are you running this alone?

I did my cross training today - a pilates video. My right hip kept popping :confused3 Tomorrow my sister and I are gonna do 3 miles along the canal. My daughter is so excited to try out the new jogging stroller ;)

Hope you enjoy that Yoga. I'm sure it is the best thing to stretch out all that tightness.

I love to do the pilates video I have. Although I must admit to not having used it in a while. It definitely makes a difference in me.

I also look forward to the JellyRolls play time. I know it will be fun; I'll be in with the late crowd.

I'm tempted these days to find a jogging stroller for my dogs. I outrun them in distance, my little ones.

Yoga was great! My legs actually MOVE now. :rotfl:
That stroller would be great for my dog if he didn't stop to pee on EVERYTHING....
