Minnie Marathon 2007 -- WISH Roster (see post 1 for WISH Meets Info!)

Well, I am not too sure how things are going to turn out...I wound up in the hospital last week for my back, I just couldn't take the pain anymore, so I just don't know where I will be come May, BUT I will be there...just not sure if I will be able to join the marathon

Hi Minnies! It is getting close and I'm still on track for finishing in the alloted time. I hope you won't get too tired waiting for me to get to the finish.

Lily, you are another silly girl, like Judy! Just think -- even if any Minnie participant is 3 minutes faster than the people doing race pace, they'll still only be across the line 27 minutes faster than people at race pace! Heck, I think by the time our faster participants take a potty break and get a drink, they'll be there to greet the rest of us coming over the line!

CAM - I am so sad that I will not be there for the 1st WISH meet that I could make it too, but I will be driving back from Tampa at the time. I WILL BE COMING BACK FROM MY COLLEGE GRADUATION!!!!!

Angie -- you are going to be on such a "high" about graduating that no one will be able to keep up with you on the course! Now, please just tell me you'll be joining us all at Jellyrolls Sunday night! You aren't driving home after the race Sunday, right? We have to all have a drink in honor of your graduation!

And let's not forget Jellyrolls on Sunday night!

Congrats everyone on your training, I am definatley not going for speed I will be happy to finish. But please don't anyone feel they have to wait for me....I will probably be last across that line but I will finish.

Now, Kim, haven't you learned anything here? First of all, who cares if you do end up last? We all get the same medal! And don't you know our WISH team motto? Dead Last Finish is better than Did Not Finish which GREATLY TRUMPS Did Not Start. However, with your awesome training, I have a hard time believing you would be the last finisher. HOWEVER, even if you are -- the WISH team will be around at the FINISH, waiting for our team mates for an awesome group picture with our medals!

Cam - How many name tags are left? Maybe I should bring more??

Not sure, Judy! I will check, but I am pretty sure there are enough.

well...hopefully some good news...today I went to see the workman's comp doctor, and he finally agreed to let me go see an orthopedic surgeon, so I asked if I could see one that I already saw now I am just waiting for the approval...I guess we will se ewhat happens...wish me luck!!!

CAM You are right about the high, I keep wondering what it will feel like to be done and I can't even imagine. NO we are not going home after race, this is celebration weekend!!! Can DH come to Jellyrolls, cause the funny thing is I already said something to him about that. The deal is, I am running for AT Children's Project and my sister is coming with us that weekend and she told us to go do something by ourselves one night if we want!! Free babysitter at Disney - JELLYROLLS HERE WE COME, LOTS TO CELEBRATE!!!!!!! We are going to MGM during day and doing Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose then we will hop on the boat and come on over. I am so excited I can't stand it.

Also I am very excited because I just confirmed my rese at PO that we are actually going to come over and stay that Friday night, then hop over to Tampa for grad then come back. I can not think of anywhere better to celebrate than at Disney!!

Also excited because we had an awesome run tonight with some pretty quick splits.

This week is spring break & we went to Chattanooga for a couple of days. As we were walking downtown back to the hotel we went by a lady running. DS6 says to me "that's what you should be doing Mommy, training" Uh, hello, I've been entertaining 2 kids all week This week has been pretty much no training, but getting back on track today & hope to be golden for Minnie!

Cam, I'm glad you figured the math on this for me. Nawww I'm not stressing on it. In fact, I don't mind if someone wants to go ahead of me. I am going to be quick enough to make sure I get that bling and the rest doesn't matter!

Gues what came in the mail yesterday.....my magical express tags!!!!

I am renting a car from the airport to have during our stay but will return the car Sunday after the run as our flight leaves early Monday morning and instead of me being half awake trying to get to the airport I figured I would use magical express....
