Minivan rental discount questions?

I just booked Enterprise for 9 days at 467.04. It is not as cheap as I would have liked so I will keep looking. The Dollar rate that someone posted was a much better deal. The closest one is about an hour away from me so we'd need it a few days longer. Did you use a code to get that rate, ColleenS?

We prefer to use a van/limo/towncar for our ariport service.. So we prefer to get our rental car after we arrived at our resort. We usually rent from on WDW property and that just makes it easy to use thier transportation. So rate is important to me, but we judge "ease of use" as our big factor.

Just booked at Dollar. Minivan for 8 days June 4th-12th for $242. Half as much as Alamo.

Is Dollar a good company?

I'd like to know more about Dollar as well. I have a rate with them and one with Budget. We used Budget last time and it was a good experience. Seems I've read more negatives about Dollar.

A lot of the codes that I have been trying are not working for my week (June 30-July 7). I'm thinking that it might be a blackout week because of the July 4th holiday. Anyhow, the best rate I got so far is with Thrifty for $293.78 w/ all taxes. I know it's offsite but I made the reservation since it's the lowest by far.

The other idea I'm toying with is booking with Dollar for $305.47. Just under $12 more but it is onsite at the airport. Might be worth the few extra bucks!! I might make that reservation too.

Anyone have experience or can compare the two companies?

I just reserved at 12 day renatal from Dollar (Grosvenor hotel?) for $317.
A bit cheaper then my 10 day rental for $478 at the Dolphin.


Anyone ever get a vehicle from Grovenor's Dollar? It says they have a courtesy shuttle did anyone use this also? I'm curious because if I will be "happier" w/the dolphins alamo I'd rather pay the cash.
