minimum points for perks

As I get closer to owning and weighing out my options is there a minimum point requirement for the perks (discount on annual pass, free parking year round, discount on the hotel rates). We are leaning very seriously at buy 25-50 points around the first of next year and just thinking about everything that can be considered.

The only minimum for perks is the minimum add-on, which is 25 points. Of course, the only way to get a 25 point contract is thru and add-on, or else a resale, since Disney's minimum for new members is 160 points.

The free parking perk is NOT a DVC perk, but an 'on-site resort guest' perk. You only get free parking if staying at an on-site resort (or have an AP). DVC members staying off-site do not get free parking. Also, the only DVC discount on hotel rates is the member discount for cash stays at DVC resorts.

there are also a few scattered dining discounts, but you'll always be advised here not to buy based on perks, as they can come and go...

Oh no, nothing like that. Just curious. I have a friend that is a DVC member of about 200 points and an annual pass holder so he doesn't really bother to keep up with which perk is which, he just know he get them. I was just curious, thats all. Thanks.
