We just booked through carrental.com and got a mini van for $479.00 at Enterprise for 10 days and I'm so excited about it. I will have to look at Alamo and see if it's any better. We are flying in Tampa since prices are so high right now.

I did it using ent. book coupon it took
as long as they gave you a confirmation # with the coupon you put in they will honor it

THANK YOU! Got an awesome rate for a minivan or a full sized car (haven't decided which type to keep yet).

Does anyone know if this code includes a second driver (spouse) free, or if you would have to pay extra for a second driver? This is the only thing that would make me keep my old reservation with a costco corp id. On the other hand, we could probably get by with just one driver, but I always like having the option.

Also, where is this code from? Would I need to show some sort of an ID for it?

Just updated my Alamo minivan reservation for mid-May with the SUNPROMO code and 2009 Entertainment book One Free Day coupon and added on a couple extra days for the same cost! It averages out to a little less than $40/day total for a minivan. Not bad...

I just spoke to an Alamo agent because when I booked a van the first time it was confirmed and checking my emails I saw that it was confirmed and soon after canceled. So I re-booked and had another reservation confirmed (which stayed confirmed). When I called to verify things I asked the agent if I need anything for the SUNPROMO code. She kind of hesitated and said "oh just bring in your card". I told her that I didn't have a card it was just a code I found. She then said "OK then...you don't need anything". She didn't sound like she really knew. Does anyone know for sure if we have to show anything to get the car?
