mini fridge

We will be staying in the all stars resorts in Oct 06. We need a mini fridge for my wifes insulin; but rather than hire one at $10 per day I thought of buying one. Any suggestions where I can buy one? Do the supermarkets also sell electricals?

if you get a letter from your g.p and put a note on your ressie then you can have one in your room free of charge
that's what i did for my youngest son who has a low immune system and often needs antibiotics we take the powder with us(with the letter of course because of imigration)and mix it up if he needs whilst on holiday,the all stars provided us with the fridge at no cost to us

Eve one more question if I may: did you have the letter from GP when you booked or did you just show it to reception at all stars. Thanks.

when i booked our holiday i told the travel agent about my son's condition and they noted it on my booking and then we just kept the letter in my hand luggage to show immmigration and then we showed it at check-in

Be aware your GP can charge you for the letter.

my g.p is very good and i didn't get charged for the letter but even if you do get charged it would more than likely be cheaper than having to hire or buy the fridge

you should put the requirement for a mini fridge on your reservation and say that it is for medical reasons so that the fridge is both guaranteed and free of charge (but mainly to make sure they know you MUST have it).
