Just returned your PM and came over to check it out! You're not a dummy! Cell phones do crazy things sometimes and aren't always the most user friendly
Chris and I bought those "kookie pens" over the summer for people to sign our guestbook with! We plan on picking up some more stuff when we're there in Jan/Feb...thanks for posting all of that
I did that to another DISer one time, too.
That's fun that your guests will sign the register with Mickey and Minnie pens.

Too bad we don't really live in DIStown. We would fill the DIStown Chapel up for you and for
tinkgurl come wedding times!
I love your shopping pics. I have been making shopping lists since I discovered your trip reports. I didn't get everything on the list when we were there in September, but I sure did give it a try. I really regret not getting more of the 40th anniversary merchandise especially since we were in the MK on October 1st.
So cute that Bella is so excited to go on her next trip. There is nothing like a child's enthusiasm of an upcoming trip to the world...or an adult's for that matter.
I hope to look over any 40th merchandise that is left when we go next month and see if there is any final thing I 'need'. I think I am okay with the pin and the truck, though.
Bella has big proclamations of talking to characters, too. She claims she's going to hug them, as well.
I am a little sad that I won't be making it to Disney to help celebrate its 40th (and stock up on souvenirs), but I will not miss its 50th!
I found the Holiday Wishes CD on ebay this morning. There was a Candlelight Processional one, too, but it was very pricey. I will wait on that one until I can buy it on a trip.
We're all partying in WDW in the 50th, right?
Ok those Thanksgiving food-themed photos have made me hungry! Between that and shopping pictures I definitely need something indulgent now! Chocolate....where are you....????
I'm glad you all had a nice Thanksgiving!
Main Street - The Confectionery.
Sounds great! I actually have stayed at both of the other All Stars before, but only Movies at Christmas time! I'd love to see Music in all its Christmas glory. This will me my first time at Sports (not sure if I said that before!) and I'm hoping for the Surf section. It looks cute!
Sounds like a great meal! I LOVE chicken and dumplins.
I always love looking at your shopping pictures. Hoping they'll have still have some 40th stuff in a couple weeks!
Being in Surf's Up was great. We were right by the main building. Didn't have a great view or anything, but we didn't care. We were seconds away from the pool and main building.
I hope they do still have some 40th merchandise, because I want one last look.
I'm back! The last few weeks were a zoo but I'm caught up now.
I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. We had a great weekend - everyone was home except my brother in CA, but we Skyped with him a few times so that was nice. As of today, I'm a mere 5 weeks from my trip!! Ahh! It'll go fast, I know.
I loved all the Christmas pictures! One of these years, I will spend Christmas day at WDW.
MeMom, Disney Shopping's website is having Cyber Monday sales today. Have you checked those out??
I glanced, but I am staying away from shopping. I got the girls some clothes, which I gave to them this weekend. I also got them 3 movies, and I'll give them those in two weeks. Other than that, I'm not buying them anything. I'll let them pick out a little something in Disney World.
This will be the second Christmas Day for Jill, Brooklynn, and me. Last time, though, we didn't get there until pretty late. I will never forget checking in at All Star Music and seeing the people hanging out in the pool watching The Santa Clause on the big screen. We went straight to Magic Kingdom! This year, we will get there much earlier.
Now I've got a hankerin' for chicken and dumplins!!! Back when I was a new, young, underpaid attorney, I worked a second job at Cracker Barrel and ate that all the time!!! I took that job to pay for a trip to London/Scotland. That's also where I met my husband.
Now I'm an old underpaid attorney working a second job at selling Pampered Chef. Also to pay for a trip to London/Paris. Still have the husband.
But I digress. The nearest Cracker Barrel is 40 minutes away. God forbid I actually MAKE my own!!
You better not say hankerin' in front of your clients. They might not be willing to pay you as much if they think you are a downhome girl!
That's neat that you met your husband on a trip. Very cool.
I confes that in my old age, I cheat on the dumplings. I used to roll them from scratch, but now I roll biscuits and cut them instead.
Sheree, that's too funny!
We've never eaten at a Cracker Barrel (gasp) but recently DH told me that since it's buzzed about on the DIS so much (he "secretly" reads dining reports over my shoulder sometimes) we should give it a try.
We've always though it was on the same level as a Denny's (which here in Canada are naaaaasty) but he's beginning to think we must be misinformed about that...are we?
We are flying "home" to Ontario for Christmas so we'll be in Seattle for the flight in a couple of weeks. Do you think we should make a point of eating there?
MeMom, those merchandise pics are great! I'm loving the fact that you're taking note of the prices on some things. We'll be in
Disneyland in July and I'm thinking I'll need at least $200 for souvies!!
I think I need a Disney themed kitchen! Everything is so cute!
Cracker Barrel is good, and there is a lot to choose from. You should give it a try. They are nice and clean, and it's fun to look around in the gift shop when the meal is over.
I have some Mickey utensils and a Mickey ice cube tray. My kitchen is not Mickey, but it does have a big Wilderness Lodge wall hanging, so it has the Disney touch.
