I still love the Jungle Cruise! Those silly jokes still make me giggle.
One of these days Brooklynn is going to actually catch on to the jokes, and she will crack up. She loves to laugh!
I kinda want to ride the teacups in January. I'd have to ride with Kailyn because there is no telling WHAT kind of spinning Mike or my dad would do!
I love Jungle Cruise. I definitely laugh at all the corny jokes!
Yes, I think your dad would be having you going as fast as they would spin!
Hahahaha... funny captions tonight!
Brooklynn probably has the Jungle Cruise memorized word for word by now!
She probably knows a good bit of it.
Love Jungle Cruise and I don't even remember a couple of the things in your post from the queues (I assume?). The menu and the kitten thing.
Love your humor in your writing. I know all about the slackside of otter!
I'm just a bit goofy sometimes. I'm glad you caught the otter/water reference.
It's funny because with my accent, the backside of water would not rhyme with the slacktide of otter lol It'd be more like the slacktide of order
Gotta love the Jungle Cruise and the corny jokes
So you guys say water like (w)order?
People say it differently depending on their accent, for sure.
In Bella's part of the country, they must say 'watah'.
only here people, only here....Memom, you crack me up!!
I love the NYTimes article - it really does show the ridiculous of it for you. I am sorry. I hope the exposure does help make it better for you and the kids!
Love Jungle Cruise ride; thanks for taking me along. The commentary (yours) certainly added to the fun!
Glad you enjoyed the little trip.
I am pretty glad to have the third portion of my observation series over with now.
You'd think those guys would get the point!
Those Jungle Cruise jokes well always make us laugh. Sadly, we're usually the only ones laughing along. Everyone else is too serious.
The driver really does make the difference on that ride.
Now I know why I had to read a timeor two and then go back and figure it out. I knew what she meant but in my head it was not coming out right. Duh the Accent.
They always get it in the end.
I think we need a big DIS Jungle cruise meet.
Then we could laugh and say it along with the skipper. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one getting the jokes, and if I laugh too loud or too long I will get " the look" from other passangers.
And how do you say watah in your part of the world.
Jungle Cruise meet in December?

We could shock the daylights out of an unsuspecting cast member with some craziness.
Thank you for taking me on a ride down the jungle cruise this evening! I just love all of its cheesy goodness!
Also I wanted to say WAY TO GO Bella on ditching the paci! That is going to be an epic battle around here any day now and I'm so happy to hear that it wasn't too traumatizing for either baby or parent!
Oh and welcome Abby! You are in good company around here with regards to taking babies to Disney. I took my little one at 4, 6, 10, and 18 months and he is going to go again at next month. I would definitely read MeMom and BrooklynnsMommy's trip reports, they were really helpful to me before I took my first trip with my little man.
Bella did better than I thought she was. I was feeling pretty bad when I left her to go on my trip and she was about to fast Bella the Beast that night.
Helping each other have better trips is such a good thing.
It's a good thing we had the front claws taken out of our kitty.
If we hadn't, the way she is tearing around here tonight everything would be torn up just like that kitty sign at Jungle Cruise!
My cat is afraid of his own shadow. He would be scared to death of a kitten, no matter of its size.
I love Jungle Cruise!! I really do feel like DBF and I are always the only ones laughing on our boat whenever we go. Last time we cruised, literally NO ONE else laughed at the backside of water.

sad2:, I know.) So it was just us, and the guide was like...well that's pretty pitiful.
You deserve a good cruise next time.
I love the Jungle Cruise, there is something comforting about the same jokes over and over again.
And the cruise is nice and long, too, so it's not like standing in a line for a 37 seond ride.
I love the jungle cruise! I hear it is really neat at night but have never done it. I have got to start paying attention in the queue lines. You had some really neat pictures.
We have done it at night.
It is a little spooky. Ooooooo-weeeee-oooooo!
Jungle Cruise is the best! I'm corny myself so corny jokes are my favorite. Easy to please I guess! I love that Brooklynn is such an old pro!
As you may have noticed, my silliness can rank pretty high on the kernel, as well.
Reelmom: I am so glad Matilda is on the mend! I was way behind, so I just read about her accident and it broke my heart. It hurts when they are in pain and don't understand what's going on. One of our dogs recently had to wear the cone of shame after surgery; he destroyed two of them.
MeMom I am sure you deserved a better evaluation than you received, but I'm glad you are relatively content with your scores. That lesson sounded like a lot of fun! That story from NYTimes was appalling. Hopefully TN fixes what they are doing.
I love your pictures from Jungle Cruise. I've never been on that ride. But I adore corny jokes, so I am sure it is right up my alley!
You have never cruised on those great rivers???
Maybe you are just in de-Nile.

at your commentary on the Jungle Cruise. It sounds like we all should ride it together!!! It's so much fun - even my kids are starting to roll their eyes at the jokes, but they still laugh.
I like your little warning to Abby!!! Hang with us Abby - we are a ton of fun and a wealth of knowledge around here!!!
That Jungle Cruise plan sounds good.
Ah the good ol' Jungle Cruise....the jokes might be corny and repetitious, but I do love it so! And I have to say, I personally find that each skipper puts their own spin on things so things aren't always exactly the same! A fun and relaxing ride for the whole family!
And yes, a million little "chambers of death" filled with Santa's and snowmen and reindeer! Just to get you in the Christmas spirit!
We will not be talking snowglobes ---- understand?
Occasionally I read that they try to make the cast members stick strictly to the script, but I like them to have a little tiny bit of leeway. They need to stay squeaky clean, but still have their own humor elements to it, in my opinion.
