Looks like a fun morning at DHS with the Toy Story gang! Buzz and Woody are just a couple of cool guys to hang around with! Someday Bella will want to join in!

Can't wait to see pics of the Rapnzel party this weekend! The braid going throughout the house sounds like fun!! Love Jill's creativity!

Looks like a great morning! I'm really looking forward to trying the new Star Tours in January, I know my dad will be, too!

We are leaving for Ohio tomorrow morning so I may or may not be back on tonight or early tomorrow morning (I'm trying to stay up so I can sleep in the car!) We picked up the rental van a little while ago, a new Chrysler Town and Country, and it is SO nice! My mom drove my dad's car home and I went with my dad in the van, and we spent probably ten minutes discovering various features. I do think five of those minutes were spent in the parking lot of the rental place trying to figure out how to change the speedometer from kilometers to miles.

Poor anorexic Bo! And Bella's hair! And, my goodness, you were right at the turnstiles. Great start to a DHS day. I was all smiles even before RD.

Thanks for the visit to DHS. It's hard to believe that this time last week, I was there.

I'm happy you have a male to help you with the boys in the room; it is a very different impact on the little ones and will be a good complement to you, Memom. He will learn so much from you.

I once had a student teacher--I scared him off--well not really, but I get razzed about it all the time. He would fall asleep in the morning when he was supposed to be observing, and when he finally gave me his plans for when he would teach, he planned to read and discuss a play for two weeks...no activities, no engagement. ugh. The straw was when he was unprepared with revised lessons and gave me the excuses that my students give me: I was really tired; I had to work.

Most of the student teachers that my friends have had have been awesome--I just got the one who thought teaching would give him time to become a writer.

I am hoping he will be a big help to all of us. I don't think a guy will bring a lot of drama, so I hope he'll just do the job well and right, focus on helping these kids and not get into the hallway/teachers' lounge/office silliness, and be ready to put it all aside at the end of the day - like I do.

I hope Brooklynn has a fun Rapunzel party. I hope to see pictures.

I hope I can find my camera! It's either here or at school, and I am not having any luck finding it here right now. I hope it is in one of my bags or tubs at school. I've done so much moving around lately that I don't remember what I did with it.

We'll have pictures from Jill's camera, but I still hope I fine mine, too!

Happy Belated Birthday to miss Brooklynn! : I hope she had a magical day! Tangled party definitely sounds like fun!

She's had a fun and busy week. I think by Saturday night after the party, she will be ready to crash.

I think Brooklynn's hair in the two braids looks really cute!

Did you guys like the new Star Tours! I found it really enjoyable! I think that the motion of the ride was a little smoother, less jerky, but the adventures were much more exciting, so if you have motion sickness, I don't think that the new one is going to be any easier to take than the old one.

The Buzz and Woody meet and greet looks fun also! We've never done that, but with a little boy, I think it will be in my future!

I don't know that it was any more jerky, but it seemed like there was a lot more movement. It could be my imagination, but it did seem to be a lot more active to me. I don't have motion sickness issues, so neither the old nor the new bothered me.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Buzz and Woody will be a big hit with you guys next time around.

My sister and nephew are gone. We had a great visit. Lots of shopping, eating, laughing and many strolls down memory lane.

In trip news: I booked our flights for December so I will be there the morning of the 28th. Flying direct again!
I think we have decided not to stay at Gaylord Palms. It really is alot of $$$$ for the 2 days.
My DMom says she wants to do it but I would rather have the time at WDW.

I'm excitted that I will definitely be on the POLY beach for NYE with you and everyone else!

As you saw on facebook, WE BOUGHT DVC!!! Can you tell I am excited. We bought at SSR and plan on buying at GF too. SSR for my husband and his love of golf. LOL.
Guess what? I just booked our first trip through DVC and it is 12/30-1/5 at the Beach Club!!! I really hope to join you for fireworks on the Poly beach. I have to start finding dining reservations. I am so excited!! We are probably going on a cruise before we come to WDW. So looking forward to it!

This was a busy place last night. Jill worked on the cake inside, and John worked on the tower outside. I did odds and ends jobs like picking up sidewalk chalk and washing dishes. The girls were at Parents' Night Out at school just to keep them from being around all of the frosting and tools that were all over the house. When we went to get the girls, Brooklynn was dead asleep, exhausted from her long week of kindergarten. Bella was awake, but she zonked in the car, so I really haven't seen them much yet.

We have a long braid at this house right now. It's going to run from the front door to the ceiling fan and out the back door. Pictures later.

Back in Hollywood, it was decided that it was time to consume some Starring Rolls goodies.

There were no available tables, so we sat on the benches that we have sat at so often to consume many other Starring Rolls goodies. It's a good place to sit and eat sugar, in other words.

We need to carry a little mat with us for the girls to sit on, don't we? Even a two dollar tablecloth that could be cut into small squares would work and fold up really small like a poncho. I'm going to have to remember this for future trips.

After treats were finished, we were off to Playhouse Disney, which is now being called Disney Junior on Stage, or something like that.

I went in and sat on the far right benches in the back with other grandmas and grandpas who weren't so spry at getting up and down from the floor, so that is where my pictures are taken from.

This was our first time to see the Jake and the Neverland Pirates part of the new show.

Good old Goofy and sweet Minnie.

Since the other sections of the show have been shown in our reports numerous times, I didn't take any more new ones of the old parts this time.

Next up, a minute to shop in the Courtyard area.

Don't you know that lady is thinking, 'Why is that lunatic taking pictures in the bathroom???'

I'd love to do the Playhouse Disney show again this year. We have only done it once. I'm just afraid that my DD will think it is for "babies" now that she's a little older.

Starring Rolls is on my list this time too. What do you guys like to get there? I've heard lots of good things about their cupcakes.

Caleb picked up a few Handy Manny items in that gift shop! And the boys loved the Playhouse disney show!

In future trip news...when we were in Canada my mom mentioned she wanted to take another family trip in 2014 for my niece's first trip where she will be 2.5-3 yrs old depending on what time of year we go. Awesome!! But I looked up prices coming from Ohio for a family of 6 adults and 3 kids over 3 (possibly) plus airfare and it is pricey!!!

So I am thinking about convincing her to buy a small dvc resale for the same price she would spend (or maybe a little less) paying direct from WDW for a studio villa (3 of them). Then we could go more often and it already be paid for and her great grandchildren would be able to go too...depending on when the contract ends!

I'm thinking this might be the Disney fuzzy math?? LOL!

I am still trying to talk DH into November 2012 just my immediate family! I would like a Disney vacation just the three us before another big family trip! And I am soo excited about camping at Fort Wilderness. I need to make my reservation before there are no more spots left!

I am going to try to upload my Canada pictures today and get my tie dye cake to show you! It turned out great and tasted pretty good!

That Disney Junior show looks so cute. That's cool they use puppets instead of the regular character costumes.

We were SO CLOSE to going to Starring Rolls on our last trip - in line 2 people out the door. If I had walked in and seen what they had, we definitely would not have skipped out! It all looks delicious! I think I'll be making a stop in next time.
