HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKLYNN

Bo is looking a little thin, don't you think?

disneysummmmer413.jpg

I think he bulked up a little after his vacation last summer.

One of Bella's tigtail bands broke, so Jill tried to use the other one to make one tail. In the process, that one broke. For a moment, Bella looked like this.

No, there was no wind.

Once I read there was no wind - I was :rotfl2: That is too funny.

She ended up using Mommy's band and going with a ponytail.

Sticking straight out. :rotfl2:

Do you see Ed?

First of all....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BROOKLYNN!!!
:cheer2::cheer2:
Have a fabulous day!!

I am a sub teacher... and only sub K-4th. I was working yesterday and had to test kinder kids. I had to just laugh as I was giving words that 1st/2nd graders still struggle with to these little "babies" who could barely write their names..... REALLY????? Who the heck came up with these tests?? They need to sit in a classroom first and get some realistic expectations! It doesn't help that in CA we have a Dec., cutoff for starting kinder (and a lot of year round schools starting in July), so there are 4 year olds in these classes. I also did a long term job and decided that I would NEVER be a full time teacher.... between parents and testing, it just is not worth it! I'll just keep subbing... coming in right before school starts and leaving right after it ends!

Looking at your pictures of TSM reminds me that we need to get to the Park by ropedrop. I always forget that you need to make it to WDW's early! TSM is one of my favorites and I don't want to miss it. We have it at Disneyland, but with no fast passes. DL's TSM usually only has 45 minute waits, so we just wait in line. The queue for WDW's is WAY better... DL's is just a line outside with nothing to look at.

Happy Birthday Brooklynn!

I :rotfl: at Bella's hair! Glad it got fixed up! :cutie:

TSM is such a fun ride!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BROOKLYNN!!

MeMom...I'm loving scumscreen and tigtails....

Those girls are so precious!!:hug:

Happy Birthday Brooklynn! :cake:

I am (mostly) caught up.

I love your Nemo classroom!

I really enjoyed your great movie ride photos and commentary. Its been a while since we rode that one, I will have to make sure we ride next time.

The studios is very pretty at night!

Bella's hair is too funny!

Happy Birthday Brooklynn

I feel absolutely awful for missing her actual birthday, I have to remember her birthday is the same day as my aunts (and Madonna)

Yup I spy my dad.

going back to catch up (im on page 20 -_-)

Sorry I missed Brooklynn's birthday:scared1:but anyway I think it's not too late to say:

:cool1::dance3::cheer2::woohoo::yay:FELIZ ANIVERSÁRIO, BROOKLYNN!!! Que todos os seus desejos se tornem realidade!!!:wizard: ( Happy birthday, Brooklynn! May all your wishes come true !!:banana:party::dogdance:

I hope she had a great day!!!!:goodvibes

Jill told Brooklynn about all of her birthday wishes from all over the USA and some assorted other countries. :thumbsup2 Thank you all for your birthday wishes for her. :goodvibes

She was excited to share rainbow cupcakes with her class, and she said all of the children wanted to sit by her because she was the birthday girl. She can now spell two colors - red and yellow. :) She's looking forward to a Tangled party on Saturday. I'm looking forward to spending the weekend just hanging out with the new five year old and her crazy little sister. I'm sure Jill will be happy to see some relaxation time on the other side of party night. She's been going full speed, as always.

All of you that understand and/or sympathize with the plight of teachers these days, your encouragement does mean a lot.
I think we would be able to do a lot better job if people who are not even in the know would just let us do what we know how to do, but I don't think it is ever going to be that way again, so I'll suffer along with everyone else and do the best I can. I am getting a student teacher soon, so it will help to have another set of hands in the room. It's a guy, too, and my class is boy heavy, so I am happy to have the help. :thumbsup2

After riding Toy Story Midway Mania, we went to see some Toy Story friends.

Well, Brooklynn did, that is.

Buzz is looking toward Bella, but she is having no part of this meet and greet at all.

Toy Story things to buy.

disneysummmmer435.jpg

Lots of cast members with nothing to do.

I think we made a pit stop at the restrooms by this, and I took these pictures as we were just walking by.

It was definitely more high tech than the old one.

Random pictures.

Okay, that's it for now. That was the last of batch one. As soon as we load the next batch, we'll start again. Have a good evening, all!

Thanks for the virtual trip to DHS! Just what I needed this evening. I am really looking forward to seeing the new Star Tours ride in Oct. ::yes::

Glad the cupcakes were a success at school and am sure the Tangled party will be a hit as well! :goodvibes

Idk why, but I always think the pictures from the Toy Story M&G look really cool. Like I'm sure the bed setup is pretty simple, but I'm always like "that's SO awesome"

Was the new Star Tours as bumpy as the old ride? I remember the old one really pulling you around.

Awesome to hear Brooklynn had a nice birthday! (: I'm sure they'll have an awesome weekend with their grandma. :teeth: And I'm sorry about your trouble with school, my mom is a teacher so I know how things are, but at least you're getting some help, hope that makes things better for you :thumbsup2

Love the pictures of Brooklynn with Buzz and Woody, very cute! Too bad Bella hasn't warmed up to the characters just yet. They would look even more adorable together :goodvibes

Toy Story things to buy.

disneysummmmer435.jpg

I love that Mr. Potato Head shirt. Another thing to buy in Disney

That's awesome you got to ride the new Star Tours. I really need to go check it out when I go back.

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

I know I haven't been on the Dis lately and I am on page 72 of your report. I hate it when real life gets in the way. I know there are a lot of praying folks on here and people who send good thoughts but I am asking for prayer for my uncle. Something really bad happened to him and people are saying some really awful untrue things about him so I am not going to post what happened here, If you want to know pm me and I will let you know but God knows and that is all that matters. Thank you so much.

Rumor has it that there will be a very long yellow braid running from the front door, around the living room, and out to the backyard.

October can't come soon enough! :cool1:

I don't know what anyone else might say, but I thought this one was a little more 'wild' than the other one. Of course, it could be that the seat movement was the same and it just seemed wilder because of what changed on the screen. You'll have to ride and see what you think.

Um, Bella's hair looks like what mind does every day. :rotfl:

Yeah, I'm not one who should ever be talking about anyone's hair.

Yep, I am looking forward to having more adult hands and eyes in the room. :thumbsup2

Hope you enjoy Star Tours!

Hope it all works out for your family. I think God has a pretty good handle on things, so try not to stress too much.

Loving the character pictures with Brooklynn and Buzz and Woody!

Too bad it wasn't Brooklynn and Bella and Buzz and Woody. ;) She wouldn't even get near them at this stop.

Thanks for the visit to DHS. It's hard to believe that this time last week, I was there.

I'm happy you have a male to help you with the boys in the room; it is a very different impact on the little ones and will be a good complement to you, Memom. He will learn so much from you.

I once had a student teacher--I scared him off--well not really, but I get razzed about it all the time. He would fall asleep in the morning when he was supposed to be observing, and when he finally gave me his plans for when he would teach, he planned to read and discuss a play for two weeks...no activities, no engagement. ugh. The straw was when he was unprepared with revised lessons and gave me the excuses that my students give me: I was really tired; I had to work.

Most of the student teachers that my friends have had have been awesome--I just got the one who thought teaching would give him time to become a writer. :lmao: :rotfl2:

Happy Belated Birthday to miss Brooklynn! :) I hope she had a magical day! Tangled party definitely sounds like fun!

I think Brooklynn's hair in the two braids looks really cute!

Did you guys like the new Star Tours! I found it really enjoyable! I think that the motion of the ride was a little smoother, less jerky, but the adventures were much more exciting, so if you have motion sickness, I don't think that the new one is going to be any easier to take than the old one.

The Buzz and Woody meet and greet looks fun also! We've never done that, but with a little boy, I think it will be in my future! :goodvibes
