Christine-glad to hear that your mom's surgery went well and she is recovering nicely!
Love the DTD pictures! I have a fountain picture somewhere... I also have a picture of the tourist lego family, I think... They are definitely still there but changed up a bit. I loved all the new Lego sculptures and the design of the Lego store now. Much easier to deal with now for we frequent Lego store shoppers.
I did get to eat some Earl on this trip (Ellie doesn't like itso we buy her a hot dog from the stand outside). We got drenched on our DTD afternoon so we didn't get to do much shopping. Unfortunately we never made it back this trip either. I think that means I get a do over too, right??
Absolutely love the tie dye cake! I will have to try that.
Before I even read your ideas, I had planned on doing some Nemo in my classroom this year too. Last year I had Toy Story outside my room (Rounding up a great class) and the kids all decorated cowboy hats. This year another teacher gave me some under the sea name plates and border so I was going to do Nemo! Great minds think alike!
Chicago is the place to be this summer! I am going on Sunday with some people from school for a conference. We won't have much time but I am excited to see what I can!!
Ellie doesn't even like grilled cheese or PBJ from Earl? Wowser! She's the frist person I have ever heard of not liking Earl. Buuut, I may need to try her hot dog stand, because I have not had a dog from there.

Do-overs for everyone!

We'll get back to DTD eventually. I hope to carve out a little time for it in October, though it won't be much. There's already too much little girl fun to pack into our few days.
Show me how your Nemo stuff comes out. I got some blow up fish yesterday and made a couple of jellyfish with styrofoam balls, paint, streamers, and ribbon. I was telling Wigd by text that I really want to put the bottom of a boat on my ceiling!

Your cake looks yummy! The girls and I made rainbow cupcakes for St. Patrick's day that turned out really neat, but making layered cupcakes was a bit tedious. I like the idea of a cake much better!
Yes, I think a cake would be a lot quicker than individual cupcakes, but you know how kids do love cupcakes.
Love Love Love the video, it is absolutely too stinking adorable. Those girls are just too precious and adorable.
Tink9721 - I'm glad your mom is doing alright! I'll think good thoughts for both of you over the next several weeks.
I sure miss my girls. After being with them every day on a trip, it is hard to not have them around.
MeMom -- Loved the Downtown Disney update!!!! EoS is soooo yummy! I can't wait until September to have another Hawaiian BBQ sandwich!!!
The girls are sooo adorable! I love their matching outfits!!! And of course that video was sooo stinkin cute!!!! I watched it over & over
I feel the same way -- I love DTD and WS but don't feel like we're ever there long enough!

Christine -- Just sent you a message on FB because at that time, I hadn't read past the post when you announced your mom's surgery. Now I've read MeMom & your updates -- soooo glad everything went well with the surgery! I will still keep you both in my thoughts & prayers for a speedy recovery!!! Please let her know all of your DIS friends are thinking of her!!!
So glad you liked the video. I am glad I just happened to be taping at the time and caught it.
I don't know if there is ever enough time to devote to World Showcase - with all the shopping, museums and displays, rides, movies, etc. - I could spend days and days just going though the countries and doing and seeing every little thing.
The Cake looks yummy! Can't wait for another update!![]()
I will try to do one this afternoon before I leave for camp, but no promises. Jill may be ready to put up some of her arrival day pictures, if she has time today.
So glad you tried the cake recipe. It looks very cool!
I love strolling around DTD. And you've put an item on my shopping list with those wood (or maybe they are plastic made to look like wood) plates.
Love EoS but also want to try Wolfgang Puck Express. Decisions, decisions.
I think they were really wood, but don't hold me to that. I think I did pick up a plate at some point.
WPE is good, too. Maybe get a little of each and share with family and friends?
Yeay for Earl and DtD! All those new Lego creations are very cool! Love the Maleficent dragon!
The cake looks delicious!!! Can I convince you to come down to Georgia and bake Chelsea's b-day cake for tomorrow? She wants a round red velvet -- hopefully it is easier than last year's round cake was for me to do.
You know you will make the perfect birthday cake for Chelsea. I told her Happy Birthday on Facebook a little earlier. I am sure she is snoozing away right now, though.

He loves my computer. In fact, he's somehow managed to make the tool bar disappear and I can't figure out to get it back!![]()
Hello, Seth!
You'll have to let him start pointing out smileys now!

I'm guessing those statues will be there for a long while, wouldn't you think? I mean, there had to be a lot of work put into them, so hopefully they will stay put for a long time
I know that you are one of the people who does remember regularly where all of this Disneymania started.
