I love your Nemo bulletin board idea...if only I didn't teach 11th graders...well, I could get away with it in Jan. or so. After they get to know me and realize how difficult the course is. If I started with Nemo, they might think the course was going to be a breeze...
Great tour of DTD. Sorry you didn't go in Basin. I go in and spend 30 minutes aimlessly walking around and leave without anything. I really need to decide what I want before I go!
The new legos looks awesome. Is the tourise family still there too, or did they take it away?
I would love to have a real Mr. Ray's Lagoon in my room.

That's why we didn't go in Basin - because I knew we didn't have enough time for me to browse. It's not exactly John's favorite kind of store. I never got back to DTD for the rest of the trip, either. I stayed with the girls one evening so Jill and John could go down there, but I never got back myself.
I really should get a do-over, shouldn't I?

The tourist family is there with some Disney additions, as I have seen in other pictures, but I didn't get to it to take a picture of it.
Oh I could spend days just at DTD.. Love it!
We had Earl this trip as well. Yummmmmoooooo! I get the one with basil, mozzarella, tomato & balsamic. I'm salivating just writing that!![]()
I never feel like I spend enough time in Downtown Disney.
Or World Showcase.
Or Animal Kingdom.
I really need to go to Disney World more often.

Joining in for this one! I hope I can keep up this time. Since it's summer vacation, I have lots more time.
The girls are so cute!
Love the Lego sculptures and the fountain.
Yay for more DIS time! My summer is coming to an end shortly.
It was very cool to get to see the Lego sculptures. They are pretty amazing. It would be kind of fun to have a job where you get paid to put Legos together.
That video of Bella was just too cuteGreat start to the trip! Earl looks delish as always!!! What's your favorite one to get? Loved your bulletin board idea! You are so creative~! I think I would like to be an adoptive child of yours! If you'll have more that is!
Looking forward to reading about your first day!!!!
My very favorite is the Holiday Sandwich that they have during Thanksgiving and Christmas, but on that good Earl bread, I have never had a sandwich I didn't like.
If you read any of our past reports, you'll learn that I want to be Mrs. Walton and have a bunch of kids, so I'll be glad to add you to my crew.

Lovely photo's. DTD is a good place to spend some relaxing Disney time. What is it with kids and walls!! Frazer, who is going on 10 still can't walk past a wall without climbing on it. Great pictures of Walt. Thank goodness he did what he did .

I guess it makes kids feel big and maybe a little daring. Brooklynn loves to walk on curbs or rocks or whatever, and of course Bella is right behind her these days.
Oh boo the rain clouds!! I hope they went away!
That fountain/waterfall thing you took a picture of is so neat! I love how it's all flower pots.
Earl is so good! A definitely must-do at DTD!
I just love that picture you posted of Walt. His smile is contagious. And I think so many people forget where it all began.
The Toy Story and Snow White lego displays are amazing!! I hope they're still there when we go next year.
I think a trip through One Man's Dream should be a requirement before going into any of the parks.

I bet those statues will be there for a long, long time.
My DD4 loves these! Right now we just have Simba and Bambi, but I have a feeling our collection will grow. When we were there last March we went on a search for Bambi. DH and I made the mistake of not letting her buy it immediately, telling her to wait and see if there was anything else she wanted during the trip. Well, it came down to our last afternoon and she decided that's what she wanted and then baby Bambi was nowhere to be found in MK. We ended up taking the monorail to the Contemporary and found Bambi there.![]()
Those babies are so cute. I'm glad you found your Bambi. It could have been a disaster if you hadn't.
