I am waiting for Hallowishes from the poly. I found a small shot glass type if you still need a small glass for your sand.
I got a glass that said Polynesian on it a few trips ago. It's not as small as I wanted, but it's okay, because we pick up a pinch of sand whenever we go and add it to the glass. I can be at the Poly beach any time I want to now.
Enjoy your ice cream, I'm having clodhoppers.
and DISing.
For the record, I think you should give Capt. EO a chance. It's really pretty good.
Maybe someday on EO, but I'm not an MJ fan, so probably not.
Since my first evaluation has been finished, I have had a tiny bit more DIS time, but not much. There's always something new to do every time I go to my mailbox. Plus, there will be Eval #2 coming in October or November. They have to do two before Christmas break and two after for tentured teachers and three and three for non-tenured. That's all they do now - walk around with clipboards looking all stressed out.
I enjoyed my ice cream. How were your clodhoppers?
Have fun!! Are you going to go to
MNSSHP? How long are you there? Take lots of pics!! LOL!
I texted with Pat yesterday for a couple of minutes. She was leaving Hollywood and going to Epcot for EMH.
What are clodhoppers????
Capt. EO is ok, when we saw it it wasn't very busy! You should do it at least once!
Maybe sometime, if I am really, really in the mood to do something new. I didn't mind MJ back in the original brothers' band days, although I was far too focused on Donny Osmond at the time to take much notice. He went a little far out for me, though, in the end. Just my personal opinion.
We love Figment and watch the ride on
Youtube a couple times a week! That song is so catchy.
I don't have any real memories of watching Captain EO, but something tells me that I did watch it back in the day. I have no desire to see it now, though. I really want them to put a new attraction there. Any ideas?
Thanks for the scenery pics of Epcot. I don't know why, but it makes me feel more at "home" than pics of any other park. I can't wait to go back!
What did we do before youtube?

I type in Disney surprise trips sometimes and enjoy watching kids - and adults - go crazy at getting a Disney trip for Christmas or whenever. I have laughed and cried at them.
I'm all for a new attraction to replace EO, and if they want to put something new at Stitch and Ellen's Energy Adventure, I'm all for that, too. I know they are the favorites for some others, though, and they would probably want Soarin' replaced.

There's something for everyone, right?
I love the figment ride. I think it is so fun!!
And Creighton loves Imageworks. He thinks THAT is so fun!
The girls like dancing and making music the most.
Those Figments singing away in the gift shop are awfully cute!
Hope you enjoyed your ice cream -- we have been consuming chocolate covered Peeps pumpkins and candy corn at an alarming rate at our house.
Getting in your practice for eating Halloween candy soon, huh? Ice cream is my addiction. I eat ice cream
almost every day.
The Figment chorus was lovely.
I wish they had more Figment merchandise - I love him!! (You're probably sick of me pointing out the items you take pictures of that I have, but I love my "One Little Spark" shirt! Okay. I'll stop. I promise!) Were those Figment dolls really singing, or were you just joking? 'Cause a singing Figment would drive DBF nuts enough to make me consider that...
Alright. Captain EO, while certainly not the most amazing thing you'll see at Disney, is still pretty attendance-worthy. If only for the hours of merriment you'll have after being like "wait...what???".I think it's worth seeing once. But I'm always up for an '80s-tastic film!
The Figments were not singing in real life....
only in my
Imagination, imagination!
A dream can be a dream come true, with just a spark, from me and you!
Thank you for bringing me somewhere happy this morning
Figment is not a ride we usually bother with but I think the Image Works labs are pretty cool!
I've never seen Captain EO either...just never really had the urge!
I only go to Figment when the girls are with me. The couple of times that I've done grown-up trips, we didn't go. Of course now, I'd probably at leats have to go in the gift shop to send Brooklynn a picture if she were not with me.
Mmmmm....root beer floats!
Good call on skipping Captain EO, it is a blast from the past but it's really not great.
I went with the root beer float.
