I'm still pro-Tiana! I really think it looks best on you! But now that you know the 2 parts of Snow White and Tiana that you loved maybe you could find something that has the two elements together?? Or ask them at Alfred Angelo if they could make it custom??

I'm a little nervous about a custom design, especially from a place like AA. I'm sure I'll find something!!

I'm really frustrated with my e-pics photographer! I knew I was taking a risk by hiring a friend for free, and I'm probably over-reacting but I'm really annoyed today!

Over two weeks ago she sent me an email saying the photos were done and burned onto a CD and she would try to drop them off at my place over the weekend. But DF and I were going out of town so I asked if I could send her money to have the CD mailed to me. I haven't heard from her since!!!! As of today I've sent 4 emails, left a message on her cell, and chatted with her hubby on Facebook. He told me she's been not feeling well (she has some serious health problems) so I want to be sympathetic. But at the same time, my pictures have been done and ready for over 2 weeks now and I still don't have them! On Friday I asked her hubs if I could come pick up the CD (they live just south of DLR) and he said he would get back to me and said they may be in my neighborhood on Sunday (today). Well it's 7:00pm on Sunday and I haven't heard a thing! I finally just emailed her again and asked if she could just email me some of the pics of us with the castle in the background, since I want to use one of those shots for our STD. I've been working on our storybook STD that my friend drew for us and it's ready to print but I am waiting for that pic. So I'm really frustrated!!!! But at the same time, I feel bad because I know she's sick and all ..... I feel like I'm being a bit of a jerk, but the only reason I'm so anxious to get them is because she told me they were ready! Two weeks ago!!!

No, I totally understand your frustration! Even if she's sick... I mean, the pictures are already on a CD, right? So even if she's completely bedridden, couldn't her husband at least take two minutes to send them to you? Or let you stop by and get them? Sounds pretty crazy to me. Hope you get them soon!

Ah I'm so late in joining in. But Im so glad to find someone planning a wedding at Disneyland! I love Disneyland and have never had the pleasure of seeing WDW so I guess I might be biased. Either way, I love your color scheme! and can't wait to continue on your planning adventure with you! Oh! and congrats on Disney Wedding =D

The original mention of tea length and pink for a dress was making me smile. I just discovered a beautiful tea length dress over the weekend that I will have made in pink. Mine won't be for the vow renewal, but I will use mine as a costume for Mickey's Halloween Party and then after this as a dress for semi-formal night for my cruises. I am normally into full length gowns, but that would not be very practical for spending an evening at Disneyland.

I am also having custom shoes made to go with the dress. They will be like the ones in the photo, but in pink with white accents:

You inspired me with the mention of trying to do your own ribbon veil. Before I got married over 13 years ago, I was determined that I would have ribbons instead of a traditional veil. I kind of got steamrollered into a traditional veil in the end. I have no regrets on this account as it turned out well. However, this time round, I was determined that I would go down the ribbon veil route. I bought one off Ebay very early on and love it. However, I have very fine hair and I just can't get it to stay in. So a few days ago I have been trailing the likes of Ebay and Etsy for an alternative. I have not really found anything that I liked. So this morning I spent a happy hour finding ribbons and lace in a variety of width, textures and designs. I will have a go at making my own.

I am looking forward to following this as things develop. I am now heading over to your trip report. As part of our vow renewal festivities in fall, we will do a Mexican Riviera cruise, so I am interested in your take on it all.

Yeah I am, I grew up on Disneyland, plus most of my family is closer to Cali then Flordia so for me it just seemed more practical. Im excited though. I can't wait to start a planning journal, I just don't know if it's too early.

You grew up ON Disneyland??!?!?! That must have been very interesting! It's never too early to start a planning journal! I started mine about a week after we got engaged before I had anything booked with DFTW. Putting all my thoughts down and speaking with other brides was very helpful.

MMMKAY. I left another message for my photographer tonight and I'm getting really frustrated. I'm starting to think that the sneak peak she sent me may be all I end up with, so I'm going to post them. I have been waiting to get the rest because I don't OMGLOVE these, but since I don't know at this point when I'll get the rest, here is what I have. What do you guys think? Disclaimer: Remember I didn't have time to fix my hair and I didn't think to carry a brush around with me so I HATE MY HAIR.

(Geez, could I be anymore negative? Blame it on the flu that's been kicking my rearz for the last 5 days. )

I am sorry that you are having such a hard time getting your photos. I absolutely adore the first one. This had me going weak at the knees. I also love the first Dumbo photo. The unusual perspective and the bright colours are really drawing me.
