I was playing around with wedding websites last night and here's my favorite one.

What does everyone think? I love it because it has our colors.

The colors are nice and bright. I really like the way the flowers sort of 'bloom' onto the page, too. Very good choice.

Is the weddingwire free? How easy is it to mess around with it? I have a website already- but they are going through an update- and my website has been down randomly, and it makes me nervous to use it on the save the dates, if it doesn't work!

I haven't messed with it too much, but I really like wedding wire. Their website is easy to use and they have tons of templates to choose from.

Now that we will likely have our reception in the Sorrel room, I've been rethinking my color combo of bright pink and orange since I feel that would clash with the pea green walls. So going back to the Pantone 2011 colors, I was thinking of adding gold (beeswax) and making the colors more orange and gold with a splash of hot pink. I think this would make DF happy too, because he's worried about our wedding being a pink glitter explosion (which is what my wedding would be, if I were marrying myself).

What does everyone think? Does this go better with the rustic feel of the room/hotel?

Alright so I almost never post. I'm more of a lurker who as a full-time student with a full-time job already spends too much time on the disboards. I am gettng married on July 9th 2011 at Disneyland and due to lack of any time, haven't started a PJ (I know, I know... don't hate me!). However... I had to reply! We are totally wedding twins! I am getting married in the Rose Court Garden with a reception to follow in Sorrell. My colors ALSO started out as pink and orange but i have since toned down to a coral, peach, ivory, with a hint of gold for a more romantic look. My planner is also Traci. To top off all of that.... I have the EXACT same weddingwire website as you (which I tried to post here but was not allowed to because I have fewer than 10 posts)! You won't be able to see much anyway because it's password protected until I complete it. I have too many anxious family members who will keep peeking and I wanted it to be complete to do a big reveal. ANYWAY... yay! We have awesome taste!

WOW, that's so awesome!!!!! It's so nice to meet you! I'm not gonna say it's super unusual since DLR has so few wedding options (compared to WDW) but that's so cool that we are wedding twins. Now you HAVE to start a PJ so I can follow along with your plans!!! I would love to know who your vendors are! Or at least do a Trip Report when it's all over so I can see your pics! This board needs more Disneyland weddings! DLR represent!!!!

I *DO* think it's crazy that we have the same website, out of all the different sites and templates available. Did you have a difficult time finding orange and pink like I did??? I swear I spent 2 or 3 hours looking through all the free sites for the *perfect* template.

Two months ago I also worked full time and went to school full time, but I finally graduated last month. So kudos to you, because I know it's really hard and NOT fun to work and go to school. And planning a wedding on top of it? You must be a superhero! What are you studying?

Please share more of your plans; I love reading about Disneyland weddings!!!!!!

My BFF said she would make me a logo for our wedding but I'm a little bored tonight so I decided to play around with photoshop and design my own. Nothing I'm in love with but it's fun to play around.

Mindy!! I just caught up, wow I have missed so much. Tried to get on last night but site was too busy. I love, love the colors you decided on. So glad that you weren't late to make it to see Traci. Isn't she fab?! Glad you are able to go for a different package and also glad that your DF's fam is willing to assist you with the financial aspect. The rooms at the Grand are classy, and the plus is you don't have to worry about construction! LOL

Thanks Julie, welcome back! I'm sure you'll find a wedding site template eventually, there are so many sites out there and so many templates - you may have to settle on just one color, light blue or light pink. Mywedding.com has lots of pretty templates that are just one color, which is what I was using before I found my current one.


I emailed Traci about signing a contract this morning but she is out of the office until Wednesday. Patience is not my strong point!!!

I got a brand new camera for Christmas so there will be lots of cruise pictures, oh yes!!! I haven't heard of the Outlook Cafe, are you sure that's what it's called? I'm looking at my ship map and I see the Cove Cafe but I don't see any place called Outlook Cafe.

Last night I ordered a Bejeweler Hotfix tool on ebay and a few crystals. My mind is swimming with all the possibilies and ideas I've seen on this board. I can't wait to make everything sparkle. DF is gonna think I've gone mad.

Also, my friend just sent me her first round of logos and asked for my input. They are soooooooooooo amazing! I can't wait to finalize them and post them here to show everyone. I am always amazed at her talent since I don't have a creative bone in my body.

I'm in the same boat. No creativity whatsoever!! haha!! I keep seeing pics of all of these awesome things people are doing and just think, "why in the world cant i just be able to do any of this?" haha!!

OMG I peeked at your profile to see what you've been up to and HE ASKED YOU FIRST EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

So happy for you. And I have to say, having just come off the Cruise to Neverland, I am even happier you two are going on a cruise together BEFORE the wedding; even with DD in tow we had a great time and really got to relax and enjoy ourselves without worrying about anything wedding related. We told our planner we'd be out of touch and didn't even bring our laptops to work on lists-and-things offline. It was fantastic. You two are going to have an awesome time and should wear the Just Engaged buttons onboard so CMs and guests will ask you the story.

Yep, look up on Deck 10 (should be above quiet cove), from what I understand it's up the 'spiral staircase'. I can't find much info on it myself, so we'll see!
