We use the military tickets for our trips. Great value. We always get them when we are there. We know we can not make FP+ until we get them. It was never a problem with the old FP system. We really do not live by a military base, but could go out of our way to buy tickets at the base. If we get them early, can you attach them to fastpass right away, or are they only vouchers, that we will have to turn into tickets. So, I guess I am asking if there is a way to link your vouchers to your MDE to make FP+ before we get to Disney?

Yes. I got my tickets on base several months ago. They actually give you an what's marked an "exchange certificate", but it linked to my MB, MDE, and I have my FPs all scheduled. (It will still need to be activated at WDW, as usual)
This time next week we'll be on our second FP ride! :)

Just wanted to add that we were able to do the same thing.

Back in February, I was able to scan my ticket vouchers with the MDE app to link our passes to our magicbands in order to book our FP+ reservations. You just have to make sure to swing by Guest Relations before you enter the park on your first day, to activate your Magic Bands, and you should be good to go for the rest of your trip after that.

You are given a green ticket voucher that has a number to link to MDE on the back. Did this two weeks ago. (:

I'm so happy to hear this... just logged on looking for information since we are headed in August and I just discovered I can get my tickets through the ITT office at our base. I plan to head out to order the tickets tomorrow. Thanks for the info!

Some base ITT offices will deal with you by mail. Check MacDill AFB ITT (Google is your friend).

Do not know if this is the norm, but we are going to go through Camp McCoy in Wisconsin,we are in SE Minnesota. Doing it by mail. Tickets are cheaper than Shades of Green. 158.00 or 185.00. Great deal.

We are staying @ Shades of Green and purchasing the Stars & Stripes passes, which have to be picked up in person. I was really concerned that we would not be able to make FP+ reservations, but I called to inquire and discovered that if you prepay, they will scan and email to you the backs of the tickets so that you can link your tickets and reserve FP's.
