DH and I are trying to figure out if we can afford another trip to WDW this year, especially with the Military Salute promotion. I think it's promising so far, ticket-wise. But I wanted to know if anyone got rates for any of the resorts (we'd like to do a Moderate, and if not then the AllStars). It would save me a lot of trouble, if anyone could let me know. With DD 10 months walking, I do a lot of chasing these days and don't have a lot of time to do much else:p Thanks for your help. Crossing my fingers!!!

I am thinking around Thanksgiving at CBR was $89 with MS, but SOG overflow was actually less at $84. The Military Salute was less for AKL during this time-$119(standard) and SOG offered it for $134 or $144 I think. All these rates are before tax.

We are visiting AKL in June. My spouse is military and a FL Resident. It was cheaper to use FL Resident Rate at AKL---$134.00/night including tax than the Military Salute Rate for Standard Rm with tax of about $160.00/night.

That was what I was quoted so we stayed with FL Residency Rate. I think our AKL rate was $124.00 plus tax-hence the $134.00/night.

Hope this helps.

This is our second stay at AKL. We were upgraded last summer to pool view from standard at no extra charge. We left camera in room and they shipped it to us at no charge.

We had booked AS Sports @ $51.74 a night incl tax, but changed to a moderate - CS @ $88.98 a night incl tax. This is for Nov 27-Dec 3. (Value Time)

Tried to change to POR, but no discounted rooms available at all thru Dec. :(

This will be the first time at a moderate. Usually stay at AS Sports or SoG. We had read all the great posts about POR and really wanted to try it.

We are staying th All Star June 23-28 with Military Salute price of 59 a night.
Depending on when you want to go when the SOG reopens in DEC that might be an option and as nice or nicer than a moderate resort. I wish we would be able to stay there when it reopens this year but we are off to Germany for 3years so it will have to wait a while.

We have a rate of $51.74 for All STar Movies for Nov. I didn't get the quotes for the other resorts. I promised my 6 yo dd to try and stay in the" puppies" area (101 Dalmations) which is why we choose to stay there. So fingers crossed

We are paying $73.25 per night (with tax) for a preferred room at the All Stars for regular season. I had also gotten a few other quotes, and it seems to all follow the 40% off. If you go to Disney's website, you can get quotes for certain resorts, types of rooms, and seasons, and you will pay 60% of the pre-tax total, plus tax on that 60%.

For the Coronado Springs we got a price of $96 Standard Room and $106 Waterview tax included for August.
